Tropico

I was looking forward to playing this because I like this genre of games. So I plonked down my cash to buy it. I gave it a good chance but it’s hopeless - the interface is clunky and non-intuitive and it’s simply not fun to play. I started and re-started several times working through the tutorials to get a good feel for it. The tutorials are frustrating because it will show you a screen and while you’re starting to look at it to understand what it’s trying to show, the screen disappears in about one second flat - it moves on to the next bit before you can take in even part of it. Then I started trying to play it. Not a good gameplay experience. I’m sorry I wasted my money on it. Deleting.

Great game, plays brilliantly on my iPad. Full, game no IAP’s adapted really well to my iPad, played for a couple of hours so far, loving the humour and the play styles! This is full PC GAMING GOODNESS on an iPad. So glad there are alternatives to all the freemium dross! You won’t be disappointed here!

Update! I finally beat War or Peace. I think there is a bug but I loaded a saved version and started from that point….around 1964 or so, and boom…..I got the right notifications and was able to finish the campaign. I have been able to beat every campaign EXCEPT War or Peace. Even cheating with tons of cash and a gazillion army bases. I can’t find anyone online that has beat it. I just want to know one thing…..is War or Peace beatable? Or is there a bug…. If anyone has beat it I’ll keep trying. Oh and let’s get some more campaigns please!

Fun game to play. I takes a while to figure out how to access all the information you need but great way to kill time without using WiFi.

I LOVE this game. However The Great Game scenario is supposed to give you the option to pick either a capitalist approach or a communist approach for your victory conditions, yet that option is never given so you are guaranteed to lose! Please fix!

Second game they don’t take into account the black bar where the ear goes that allowed you to quick switch apps. Ruins game flow every time

Will there ever be a modern times expansion pack? Or an addition to more buildings that such as the parliament building? I would absolutely purchase.

One of my favorite games. I appreciate they are still making new levels.

Love this game it’s my intro to the tropico series but please add cloud saves to allow users to alternate between iPad and iPhone with the same presidente pot favor ! Only reason why this is not five stars. Great work dev team you guys killin it
