UniFi Protect

I love the improvements that keep coming and rely on this app through the day to keep an eye on things however the ability to export clips at Timelapse Longer than 1 hour has stop working in the last 2 weeks. Now anytime I try to export a clip longer than 1 x hour I get the message “Clip has Reach Maximum Duration”. This is impacting both Timelapse and Standard Export. Can you please fix this and there was no 1 hour limit earlier and I had approx 2 weeks ago (10 May) export without any issues a Timelapse which was 15 x hour day and it can came out as a 5minutes and 23 seconds of footage at 300x. This was a very easy way to see what happen though out the day without watching all 15 x hours of footage back.

I’ll like to suggest enhancements for the app. Currently, we are able to set alerts for cameras/devices for (When): Always/Never. When set as “Always” and if within the premises, the app will constantly notify when it detects motion. It will be good to have an option when the device with the app is in the area (geo-location or connected to the same network), such notifications will not happen. Also, a time settings for such notifications to happen will also be good to have. Looking forward to more features from an excellent brand like UniFi.

Wish you could customize the screen timeout value

With an AI pro, trying to speak through the app is very choppy, cutting off every other second. The app also crashes when trying to mute.

New of AppleTV app update appears to have lost last detection / motion. Where is the setting to enable this?

It first appeared remote access enabled was required to use this app and the standard ubiquiti support even said as much. However the mobile team shared how to access the console from this app with remote access disabled. Create a local account on the console then log out of your ubiquiti account in the app if you were logged in. I had to give invalid info to get a new option to pop up at the bottom for proceed locally. Tap that and use the local account login info and you’re in with remote access still disabled.

I really appreciate the streamlined login process allowing the AppleTV to authenticate through the protect app. Makes a real difference for ease of use.

Like the tab with snapshots of alerts. On WiFi app is fast and responsive, but having a connection issue when connecting on mobile service, will contact support.

The app constantly needs to be restarted to view cameras.
