Some features are gone after app upgrade recently. Very poorly made and confusing at times.
If I could rate negative stars I would. Previous Viessmann boiler died so replaced with a new Viessmann. Boy do I wish I went with their competitor. The app to monitor the boiler wouldn’t install. Trying over several weeks on different devices and no luck. Submitted a ticket with screenshots videos etc and Viessmann customer service eventually gave up and stopped responding. Similar to a few other posts on here I had a Brand new boiler out of the box and the burner kept faulting out. Sometimes 2 days. Sometimes 3-4 weeks. Went on for 6 months before viessman rep finally sent new parts to my plumber. Now after their product didn’t function from factory and they send the parts to fix, they rejected the warranty claim because the parts are exposed to flame and not covered by warranty. Absolutely disgusted with the viessman product, app and customer service. Would never recommend to anyone looking for a new boiler.
Useless that I can’t even sign up for In the app after I enter my name and address details it just keeps spinning loading . Tried on another phone same problem. No other way to create account without app.
I’m sure the rest of the app works fine, but I wouldn’t know. I try to sign up and after entering the required information, the icon that indicates it is processing the request just spins forever. This is not giving me much confidence for how the rest of the app or the boiler will work. I went to the company web site hoping I could find a sign up to get around the app failure/ problem and there wasn’t an easily locatable link. Please investigate and correct as additional warranty is at stake, not to mention all the time I’ve wasted trying to get it to work. Thank you
One of the great thing about Viessmann is that you can monitor your boiler on your phone…that is when the app is working. The frustration that other reviewers are taking about is real!! The app constantly disconnects from the wifi. I’ve had to waist many hours trying to reconnect my device without success. Deleting and redownloading the app sometimes works. I know that I’m not the problem because my wifi signal is strong and all my other apps are working fine. Not sure if it’s a bug in the ViCare app or there is maintenance being performed by Viessmann ( as others have mentioned), but something needs to be done to improve the reliability of the app. What happened to good old German engineering???
Never know when this is working or more often not. Interface changes constantly. The whole point of going with Viessman was for remote access- total disappointment.
The system works when it works But often maintenance on the main computer in Germany or wherever is being updated and you wont be able to connect to your boiler. When connecting it after the summer when everything is shut down means reinstalling the boiler into the app again. If it has to upgrade the software this will take another half day as it will fail so many times you will want to hit it with a hammer.
This unit is a headache, burner get locked out every other day. Contract came multiple times and talking to Viessman they changed two sensors but were not sure. Ok for couple months we are back to square one. This is a latest model not good .

Would like to see more information from in app as to what’s happening. Flame loss during calibration?? Why, where do I go to look. Yeah it says call my contractor he is not available for many days. Update: I made a couple of phone calls and was able to talk to a viessmann regional representative he was a big help and was able to get my boiler operating. I will be working on the fine tuning to improve the operation of my boiler.
