can you add 2 no separate supply temperatures for 1: heating (25 deg C to gf underfloor and first floor rads), based on steady state 24 heating rather than inefficient cyclical heating/cooling 2: heating to an under pressure hot water tank (55 deg) this would be a fairly simple thing to do

Needs to add “Party Mode” The Vitotrol Plus app had this option so why not ViCare? Also it needs to be available on the Apple Watch.

Great app, shame you can’t see more than 1 year rolling consumption data and also to be able to download the data

For a premium manufacturer of boilers, the app and it’s lack of features is really, really poor. You can only set 2 scheduled temps for a whole day which is shocking for a ‘smart’ app. I want a higher temp for an hour in the morning and evening, a steady temp in the day and a frost protection temp in the evening. Also there’s no boost function where you can increase temp for a set amount of time. You have to increase the temp of comfort mode, turn on extended heating and remember to turn it off yourself then lower the comfort temp after.

Literally nothing works and it is so featureless. Must be the worst app I have ever used.

Really impressed with new Viessman but the ViCare application is average at best (having come from a Nest). However, I have noticed two significant drawbacks with Viessman support in the UK: 1. No Alexa support. The skill is available in Germany and other countries, but hasn’t been enabled for the UK. Allegedly, this is coming soon…said Viessman in 2021 !! Having used a nest previously with Alexa, this feels like a massive downgrade. 2. ViCare+ providers extended application support to the ViCare application (and hopefully return lost functionality that I had with the Nest), however again, this is not supported in the UK (despite being available for most of Western Europe). Furthermore, there is a monthly subscription of €4 which seems very excessive just to provide additional features and reporting for your boiler!

Update- The daily/monthly/yearly energy trends have reappeared in the app after a week, not sure why, but really pleased. App back to 5* Updated ViCare to latest version 3.28.0 and the energy usage trends for daily/monthly/yearly has gone. This was the most useful part of the app for me, now I can’t see SCOP, or energy usage to optimise the system. Can’t understand why this has been removed, really annoying. The system seems as though it has not been developed properly and is still in the process of getting the bugs out. I note that very often the App down not update. For example today the DWH was on but the water temperature remained static. I had to delete the Ap and reinstall to get it to work. This happens often. In my opinion the App should not have been marketed until all the bugs were sorted.

I can’t get password reset to work. It either hangs or says sorry try again.

Updated review. Excellent boiler so far, more than one year in. The app on the other hand still gets worse every update. Randomly loses connection to the boiler (when the wifi is just fine). Which makes the app rather pointless. Most recent reviews here point to similar issues. Yet they remain unresolved. Lately the app team has been answering that a future update will solve all that. Today (5 Sep 2024) there was another update. As expected, no change. Very disappointing.
