Virtuo: hassle-free Car Rental

They want you to be licensed for at least one year, but they don’t understand that for some licenses, the issue date is the date that the physical license is printed, not the day you passed your driving test. So if you just renewed your license, changed your address, or got a new photo taken within the last year, they consider you to have held your license for less than a year and therefore ineligible to rent.

I used them this summer (2022). I was a bit apprehensive renting from a virtual company. It was honestly amazing, especially considering how dealing with rental companies can be a hassle. Their customer service is top notch and the car was perfect. My flight was late and it was no issue dealing with customer service. Perhaps my only recommendation would be not to use them last minute (less than 24h) as you have to upload your license on their app and they need to validate.

Some of the issues: 1. Wrong car location - at the Orly airport they sent me a wrong address for the car location. The car was parked in another terminal's parking lot while we were trying to check all the parking levels. The location is just coordinates without even mentioning the parking level or the column numbers! 2. No response - For more than two hours they did not responded to my multiple requests in the app that I cannot find the car! 3. No After they informed me of the correct car location, they told me that I will be reimbursed for the parking fee, but they sent it to my Vituo account that I will never use again. In summary, they ruined the first half day of our trip to Paris, and even did not reimburse the parking fee. I will not recommend this company to anyone!

If you rent cars in Europe I highly recommend this company. Initial completion of your account info is detailed and takes time, but required to ensure your safety in renting their cars. No line up at the car rental counter, very competitive pricing, and an outstanding customer service chat function that answers all your questions. This company will challenge the big names, as there is no real requirement to go through a check in desk. Highly recommended!!

La démarche et les explications fournis pour le démarrage de notre voiture étaient insuffisant, si ce n’est le badge en lui-même qui était défectueux.

This site / app has the most painful and horrible sign/in experience. Asks for a ton of infos and then cannot send a validation sms. Had to try 6 times and then it complained that captcha was wrong although there was NO captcha. Then it locked out for minutes before I could try again.

What a pleasure to rent through Virtuo. No waiting to take the car like other agencies, clean car and the service center always answering through the app when you have questions. The only inconvenience was the fact that the Kms were not unlimited so we had to be careful and it was a problem for us. But otherwise everything was fine. We reported a damage on the car when we took it and hope it will be considered. We will go with Virtuo again.

Voiture en très bon état, très pratique pour prendre et laisser le véhicule

Utilisateur plutôt régulier je suis très déçu du traitement de ma dernière réservation. Prise 8 mois à l’avance pour bénéficier de prix avantageux, ma réservation a été modifiée pour une raison obscure de « problème technique sur le véhicule » et downgrade. Virtuo ne garantit plus le véhicule réservé. Service client dispo par chat. Bref ça ressemble de plus en plus à un loueur classique. Dommage.

J’ai utilisé Virtuo depuis plus de 2 ans et ma dernière location remonte à février 2024. Depuis il n’est plus possible pour moi de louer de voiture. Mon profil a été restreint sans que je sache la raison. Pourtant le service était très bien jusqu’à maintenant.
