A great app to have as an artist…
This app has helped me a lot when making art but my only gripe with VizRef is how unorganized it can get when you have multible ’reference boards'. Someday in the future, would you consider adding the ability of selecting->place in stack similar to how Procreate does it? Instead of creating 'sections' for specific things (cars, animals, etc) you can organize them easier in aptly named stacks.
PS. This gripe stems mostly from how I have VizRef set up. 1/4 of my iPad's screen is used for VizRef and the rest for the drawing program I use but I quite often have trouble finding the board(s) I'm looking for, even when I try organizing them nicely (and in fullscreen).
I'm unsure if this came off as rude, but my suggestion is genuine. I believe it would be a nice QoL to have in terms of organizing one's reference boards.
Great app but…
It would be so cool to be able to have access to our files on iPad and iPhone too. I can’t connect my files on both devices or at least didn’t find how to do so, I purchased both of the apps thinking it will be connected somehow but if I create a doc on my iPhone with VizRef lite and want to use it with my iPad I need to find again the picture to import it in the app on IPad.
Great app but I think it would give more value to be able to do that.
Markup/ transform
Really cool, agree some kind of markup would be great. Also being able to group/ungroup, and rotate the canvas would be amazing
Mark up
I love it! But if I could mark up with Apple Pencil it would be even better. Thank you. :)
A must for people who draw on their iPad
So I’ve been drawing on my iPad for a while and this app really helps how I work from now on. I can way easier have my references the the side of my screen while I draw and it’s so comfortable and smooth to use. I really can’t see why you wouldn’t use this app.
Essential part of my workflow
This app is an essential part of my workflow as said above. If I’m drawing on PC I use PureRef, if I’m drawing my my IPad I use VizRef. My one complaint is that there appear to be some consistent glitches, especially on larger or older galleries. Some pictures will turn invisible, still outlined if you highlight them, but with no way to make them visible again or photos will straight up delete themselves. It appears to be random which photos this happens too, but I wish if it was a memory error of some kind that maybe there was a cap in place to prevent me from going over what the app can handle if this isn’t something that can be fixed.
Update the app
Please let us add text in the boards
Updates?
Are we going to get any updates for this? Its starting to crash on me.
Works great!
10/2024:
Unfortunately this app seems to NOT export boards as it did before. It no longer indicates where it is saving the exported images and nothing shows up in the Apple Photo app. I had to resort to screen grabs which includes an unwanted background color. Also, no support link on their website.

Love the app and see how it will be useful while doing my own artwork. I also am an art director, working with artists and photographers, and would like to be able to export the board as a single JPEG to share with my project team members.
I also agree, that having a back-up option would be a great add.
Please Add Features!
I like the app and it’s helpful but one of my boards is getting too big (and keeps crashing) so I need to move half of the images to another board and there’s a lot of them. But there’s no way to duplicate boards, or copy multiple pictures at once and then move them over to a different board. Please fix ;u; I can’t use how intended if it keeps crashing from my images but I can’t move them
