I’d love if we could add captions or small notes to boards, this would work great to separate multiple objects on one board. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been using this for years now for various projects and it’s always run smoothly, even with large amounts of images and boards. I wish you could input text though. and the ability to scale the multiple selected images would be a convenient detail.

A great tool for my Procreate workflow. Being able to view and edit all the reference material I need whilst I make art is very useful. Importing images either through drag and drop or the files explorer is a breeze. This app is a must own in my book. My only gripe is related to the reference board selection screen, once it has filled up with lots of boards navigation and organisation can be quite sluggish. I think this could easily be remedied by allowing folder creation and also by adding sort options (sort by name, date, etc.) This is a great app regardless. Totally recommended.

I use this everyday to use while painting traditionally. I can also trace on top of the iPad due to its lock feature. Great app, could use more advanced features, but it’s clean and fast right now so I wouldn’t like it to start freezing and crashing more often…

The only thing that could make this app better in my opinion would be the ability to make notes over the images you import, other than that it works perfectly for image referencing for my projects. Being able to drag images in from Safari is super useful, I’ve used the gif capabilities more than I thought I would, the automatic organisation is super nice, and it works really nicely whether it’s full screen, on half the screen, or as a floating app. A must have for artists who do art on an iPad in my opinion :)

At first, I was a little bit sceptical because there were a few bad reviews. However since buying it I can’t even remember life without it. As a character designer it has been an indispensable asset and has been especially helpful in having all my references in one place. Totally recommend!

Great, simple app. Any chance of adding folders to better organise boards? I use some for art refs, some for writing inspiration, etc, and it’d be great to organise them more neatly.

This app is great for gathering reference pictures together, and works perfectly alongside Procreate. I love how you can organise and title all your projects, and it saves me so much time picking up where I left off in a painting. As others have mentioned, I would love a desktop version (I have used pureref for years, but would love something that’s cross compatible) The interface is nice and simple, and even big ref boards I’ve made load fine, it might just take a few seconds longer to display them all. One thing that I’d find useful; to be able to select and move multiple images at once. I think this app is best for digital painters, and if you wish to just create/annotate a mood board, something else might be a better choice for for you. For me, it’s perfect! And at £4, really wasn't too much of an investment. Thank you for creating this app!

Bought this after a YouTube recommendation and was disappointed to discover it does very little, I was hoping to build mood boards on a formatted page size with nice layout that could be exported, there’s no snapping, no auto layout, no options, nothing, why not just use Pinterest? this app has nothing I need and I wish I could get a refund
