Would like to see an apple watch app
I have been using this app for 3 years and I love it. It is tailored specifically for athletic performance, not your regular training for looks , although they do have weight loss and mass gains programming. But there are plenty of apps that concentrate on looks alone, so this is probably not really for you, if you have just aesthetic goals. I can only comment on the skiing program - it is very similar to what my skiing coach was prescribing to me before I retired, in terms of structure, intensity and periodization and working in the competitive season timing. Quite a few things I’d still love to have to make it perfect - give people ability to add finishers directly into workout flow and conditioning as well (maybe even ability to schedule conditioning days on top of programming, since sometimes those are lengthy. At the moment, the app only lets you do one type of sport programming, but it would be great if you could add secondary goals, like athletic performance in specific sport plus some fat loss specific weeks or days or muscle growth. And sport request - backcountry skiing + ski touring, please. Integration with Garmin would be great , both to see workout on the watch or just sending the exercises you do to the app would be great as well, since Garmin pattern recognition when you do strength training is pretty bad, and you don’t have accurate info at the end of the session.
The app itself is nicely built but is lacking tons of features that makes it useless to me. Its an all set and given. You cant build your own, you cant add comments, you cant add additionally exercises to a scheduled workout. You can swap but a lot of exercises are missing. Every workout targets your entire body. You cant just target a specific muscle group. The equipment selector hardly has any available. Anyway, the App is great for people that just want a basic training guide to stay motivated.
The concept behind this app is really great and could really improve the way people workout. At least for me having a way to track my workouts AND at the same time plan/improve the upcoming trainings based on my past performance is exactly what I needed. I’m doing bodybuilding at the gym and unfortunately, Volt won’t help me as expected. There are way too many (standard!) exercises missing, for exemple variations of biceps curls (hammer curls, cable curls). Also almost all the exercises on machines are missing as well. You can’t leave notes for workouts or exercises either, which would be very helpful. That’s a deal breaker for me since, I’ve spent too much time in editor mode looking for proper replacements without success. I guess I’ll keep the app for the workouts I can cover 100% with the exercises from the app. Also sometimes the recommenced weights don’t make sense - again based on previous performance. If you’re totally flexible with your exercises choice and want to make a new experience with training apps, you should still give it a try! I think this app has a lot of potential in the future.
very good (for ppl who are blind: 🤚🤌🖐🏻🖖🖖🤟🤚🖐🏼🖐🏾🤘💪🤌🤚🤚👍👊✊
Absolutely super App An excellent app that allows you to track progress and motivates you to excel
This is an amazing app that takes everyday workouts that can you can do in a gym and incorporate them anywhere. I have been lifting for about 2-3 months now. This app is also really good to track all of your weight. The only thing that is a con about this app is that you cannot do half of a pound. So if you wanted to do 12.5 pound DB curls, you would have to put in there 13 pounds.
Easy to use and love that it automatically adjusts weights, keeps track of history and is user friendly!
I’ve never been an advocate for apps, or anything really. But, I tell everyone about this app. It’s takes the guess workout of your fitness journey. I like the percentages and tonnage to keep you honest with yourself. It adds that bit of competitiveness with yourself, the only person you should be competing with anyway. It’s the real deal and the whole package. Totally worth the less than $.50 a day.
So far I really enjoy it. Heard good reviews. I would agree. Nice app
