This app is a great writer's companion, it truly is, but its image is unfortunately hurt through an unnecessary subscription service - which costs significantly more than, say, Nintendo Switch online or Curiosity Stream. Themes should be available as one off purchases (or bundles) as they originally were, especially when necessary for many to avoid eyestrain and fatigue. $50/year is exploitative.

The app itself is easy to use, has decent option as long as you pay for it, but crashes quite often and lags more than can be tolerated. Desperately needs an update.

This is not a document shaping app. It's for writing and working on drafts. And as a writing app, it's great! No fuss to disturb you nor tangling settings. Just write!

It has no fonts, no bold or italics, no choice in tabs or spacing, it has NOTHING so I want my money back!

It used to be an amazing and an easy managed App. But now I don't like it so much. I love colours that creat harmony together and the red and Brown wooden feel to it was something that made writing with this program very inspiring. Now I think it's quite cold and unwelcoming. Now, I do not have the premium werdsmith, so I do not now if that one is somehow better. Nor do I want to buy the premium with how the free version looks and feels... I hope the next version will be better and in a way more like the one before now.

Either i'm very stupid or this app is very unintuitive. I can't open up new projects or new chapters within each project, it just give me new "ideas". I want to keep all my writing projects in one space, was hoping this was the one but not as it's impossible to easily start new projects/documents.

This app is a great tool for any writer. Sure it's not Word with fancy tools but for jotting down ideas and such this is a great app. It's a breeze to get started. The ability to set a word count goal is handy. There are some things though that would improve the app even more. I would like to add more ideas into one and the same project instead of having everything in one file. This could make it easier to separate chapters, for example. Maybe a substructure like "scenes" in a chapter would be useful as well.
