Wikipanion for iPad

To be honest, viewing WP on Safari is a better experience. The app only allows searching and reading. There is no search history, no saving function, nothing. Just search, read and forget.

Wikipanion used to be a free app with a few extra features than the official wikipedia app. Those features have now been removed and moved into the paid app. If you book marked any sites on the old Wikipanion those book marks have now been removed unless you upgrade to pro which is $8.00. You have to wonder what feature will be removed from the free version next. Seriously, don’t bother. download the official Wikipedia App which is now free and will stay free and will not remove any features over time.

Great app, but the page moves to the left for some reason when scrolling.

But it needs a time stamp on history and to make separate entries for each view of the same article, not simply update the previous one to the current date.

Best way to use Wikipedia on iPad.

This app is great as it lets me read the wikipedia Without getting in my face. The one feature change would be the ability to hide the sidebar in Landscape mode the same as in portrait mode. This would allow for very clean browsing of the site, perhaps with controls in little menu instead. I might buy the paid version if this was done. This is my 3rd wiki client and the best one I've found yet.

Works well, clumsy bookmarking implementation, can't hide sidebar in landscape mode.

You've ruined the lovely icon – I've used Wikipanon since the first-gen iPhone and I've always loved it! The new one looks like WordArt 😱 Please change it back.
