Accessing Wikipedia has never been faster and easier than with Wikipanion, designed for easy, search, navigation and display of Wikipedia entries. Streamline your browsing with history grouped by visit date, and bookmarking that not only bookmarks individual entries, but individual sections within an entry. Featuring intelligent features such as:
- Table of contents browser that knows where you are in the page
- Multiple search methods including Smart completion with entry preview, Google searching and a full text Wikipedia search
- Dual language searching and language switching (hiding languages you don't care about)
- Bookmark, including bookmarking individual sections of pages
- History, grouped by last visit date
- Full in-page searching
- Wiktionary dictionary term looking without leaving the current page
- Table based category browsing
- iCloud syncing
- Image saving to the Photo library
- Ogg vorbis audio playback for dictionary pronunciations and other audio content available on Wikipedia
- Article coordinate link shows location on map
- Contextual knowledge for sending links to specific sections in a Wikipedia entry
- Easily turn on automatic focusing of the search field on launch

Language
I can’t set the language on Dutch. Keeps coming back to English!!!
Seems a nice app until you find out it’s German only
The app gives you the opportunity to set a language. But it doesn’t matter what you choose, it will set the language back to German. Incredibly annoying. Otherwise it would be a fairly good app.
Needs the possibility to refresh individual articles
This app is a handy way to search Wikipedia, in multiple languages, and store the articles you want to keep at hand. Unfortunately, this is also the biggest irritation, since there is no way to initiate the manual refresh of a previously read and/or stored article, and get access to the changed content. Bummer.

alle oudere bookmarks zijn verdwenen, rampzalig!!!!

Good but logo thing
This is so great but when I try to get a logo in my photos it won’t save in to my photos and it’s real stupid. I hope you fix it in an update.
Nothing compares
I’ve enjoyed this app for many years and still consider it crucial to research and learning on my 1st gen Air. It seems my old pad is aging out, unable to update to latest iOS or get updates like the one I can’t access for Wikipanion. I would certainly pay for the Wikipanion interface for my MacBook Pro, as I’ve been unable to find anything close. I have extensive bookmarks that I’d love to transfer. Robert Chin, tell me it exists for macOS and I only missed seeing it. Tell me! Alas, your web page seems oldish and you’re likely moving on, as is proper. We can’t have it all, but I sure appreciate years of use from a truly excellent app. I’ll keep using it until the pad, the app, or I perish. Cheers, Robert
