You’ll not be able to register using your phone number. And It is very slow to load as well.

Nice and clean UI without sacrificing functionality.

After update it’s not going through!!!

Wire’s HQ moved to the U.S. presumably to lure in venture funding. This will mean new investors equal new owners. And they seem eager to forego the individual, non-business folk that helped Wire since it’s inception for enterprise. I have absolutely no confidence in this app anymore. They say data is still stored in Switzerland under local laws, but moving jurisdictions is more or less no different from selling your company. If you’re really serious about your privacy, I suggest looking elsewhere. Wire doesn’t feel like it anymore.

Cannot use it on my phone as it shuts down the moment it opens. There has been no update to fix this issue as of date.

App kept on crashing and there’s no update whatsoever. Really frustrating! This is the 2nd time I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app but it keeps on failing me.

Though you may be applauded for your sleek design and unique features (the voice filters being my favorite), an issue with opening the application itself is proving to be a huge pain. I tried opening it multiple times and yet, it just shows the logo then immediately shuts down on me. If it does open, the app then lags big time before shutting down again. There’s also a connectivity problem. Most of the time, I have to relaunch the app since many messages are left unsent. Snapping photos and shooting videos are also proving to be difficult since it has a habit of crashing too - either just forcefully cancels out the request for it to open or takes down the entire app itself, and a bug resizes the gallery option, taking up the entire screen instead of just the bottom half. Said bug also gets in the way of other functions much like the drawing section that shuts itself down the moment it gets tapped on. Voice messages stop recording in the middle of it. I’ve used your app a lot and it would be awesome to have it be fixed. Wire keeps me connected to the most important people in my life and it would be a shame to switch applications now.
