They charge you and then say check your internet connection and don’t give you a word for the day. My internet works great with all other apps so it’s clearly an issue with this app. And there’s no way to get your money back because there is no customer service # or ema

A human needs to review the questions and images. Some were just nonsensical. This might be ok in a free product, but not worth what they’re charging.

If you want to expand your vocabulary and knowledge, this is the app for you!!!

First thing they do is ask for money, (tired of that in three days) then you have to tap on it several times to get your word. They feature obscure that most people never use. Bye.

Sent a question into support a week ago. Never heard back from anyone. I imagine the developers are locked in a room deciding what pictures to attach to upcoming words.

Great app. I love to study new words. This the perfect app for learning and build your vocabulary.

Used to be a good app but then they started ridiculous prices for just words

I have been using Word of the Day for a very long time, and a few years when it was released. It was a great app before, especially with the illustrations. Recently I have seen increasing trend in using AI art as well as making the app harder for people to use while lowing its quality. They want you to pay for everything, overprice it, and make the format of the app a mess. They removed the feature to scribble to reveal the artwork, but even if they recovered it, what would be so appetizing to reveal than a generated image. Much of the vocabulary isn’t being used professionally anymore and sometimes even in context. Honestly, this company started focusing more on its revenue than its quality, and I hope you see that one that if you continue this, your revenue will go down as well. For now, I will stop using this app, as I see no more value in it.
