xKeyboard - Custom Keyboard

When typing with the apple keyboard it still uses qwerty rather than my custom layout :(

i have been using this app for almost a year now and it is everything i could have hoped for when creating my own keyboards. thank you to the developers! that being said, lately (especially with the siddham script) i cannot change the keycap / output with the siddham letters as the app crashes every time. aside from this small problem, the app is excellent to use and i hope it can get fixed :) edit: just realised it’s not specific to siddham, but every single script. this bug makes the app completely unusable in creating new keyboards! once again, i hope this is sorted out asap!

Wow, I never thought we'd see this on iOS! With almost no features missing either. Would be amazing to see the two-finger trackpad thing working of course.

Would not recommend, getting keyboards other than qwerty and numbers locked behind a paywall :(

Is that possible to add more languages? I’ve been looking for an extended hungarian keyboard layout for years and I had high hopes with your app.

So, I downloaded this great app, and expected to be able to make and download my keyboards for free (oh how foolish I was!). I had to pay $5 just for that very thing. EVERYONE WANTS IT FREE! Also, when trying to add a key in the default keyboard, instead of showing the key customization menu, like before, it just says “select a key on the key pad to edit”. What? I did select a key. It wasn’t like this before. Three more things to improve: 1. When I try to add more symbols to the 1000+ symbols, it just says that the limit is 1000. Remove the limit please. 2. Add a counter at the top of my symbols to let me know how many symbols I have. 3. Another limit to remove is the candidate keys. If you want to type every Unicode symbol (like me), then let me add infinite candidate keys to a single key. Overall, great app.

I've hunted for an app like this for a while and no others I have found have the level of customization offered here. I purchased the full version and don’t regret it. That said, I would really appreciate autocorrect being available while using the custom keyboards. I would also really like to have the option to be able to remove the toolbar altogether. I’ve found that I don’t end up using it and it just adds visual clutter. I particularly dislike the permanent logo button since I only ever have one custom keyboard active, so it literally has no function for me. If dictation could be built in, that would also be an added bonus.

i have been looking for a good keyboard for writing code i have been thoroughly impressed with this one!!!
