Hopeless Bluetooth connectivity
It seems that the company does not take seriously the complaints about poor Bluetooth connectivity which have been apparent for years. Perhaps it’s time we all switched to a different manufacturer. Such a shame because the machine itself is fine.
Unreliable connection
The app needs to be forgotten and machine unplugged and reinstalled every couple of days. This is becoming a real pain. I love the portability but other than that it is a pain. It seems like this has been an issue for many years and still hasn’t been fixed. Not great for a medical device.
Don’t bother buying
I’m unable to recommend the Resmed Air Mini, despite deleting and reinstalling the app countless times, this machine doesn’t hold its Bluetooth connection for more than a few days at a time. If you’re looking for a small portable device with Bluetooth connectivity, I suggest you look elsewhere and find a device that actually works as it should.
Can’t connect to Bluetooth
When I first received and used my Air Mini I downloaded the app and had no issues with connecting to my phone via Bluetooth. ( However it was annoying that I had to reconnect every night.) Now after only using it for a week, it won’t connect to Bluetooth at all. I have checked the settings on my phone and deleted then reloaded the app to no avail. Extremely frustrating.

It’s My Data!
Before you ‘blow’ over $1000 on a this travel cpap it’s worth noting that ResMed privides no option for the end user and owner of the device and data to actually download that data. To make matters worse, the app will only store 30 days of historical data! This is a complete deal breaker. Hard pass on the Airmini until this fundamental issue is fixed. They will happily take all your data and store it in the cloud for their own use but they won’t let you access it.
Why will ResMed not let me access the data?
All the app shows is an over simplified sleep score broken down into 4 categories. Come on ResMed, stop treating me like a child, I want to look at the full breakdown of the data like I can on my AirSense!! Bad form!!

Why can’t Resmed fix it???
It’s now 2023 and still the same problem with Bluetooth connectivity. What poor customer service.
