Arro - Taxi App

This yellow taxi payment method always works. It pairs no problem and is the only taxi payment app that seems to work for an out of country (USA) resident.

Keep getting the “Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again.” message. Utterly useless. Too bad I can’t give 0 star. Account and app deleted.

Got stuck in the registration process. Keeps asking me "a valid phone number". I don't have any other number just one I'm using

Only good for non U.S. customers. Use Uber

From out side of US and don't have zip code attached to my credit card so can't register a card and use app

Loving this app now, the bugginess of the old app is gone. Took me a while to get used to the "pay" vs "in a taxi" change but that feature still works great. Have used it in New York and San Francisco with perfect results!! Looking forward to trying it in other cities.

Should be zero stars. The app doesn’t timely send verification codes for password resets. The Facebook login doesn’t work because Facebook indicates it isn’t correctly set up for that. Payment is clunky if you manage to get in the app. It isn’t worth using the app - easier to use your iPhone wallet or credit card directly in the cab. If the cab offers the CURB app, use it instead.

If I could give a -1 rating for this app I would. Even though I downloaded the app and successfully signed up, and paired my ride (as the display in the back of the cab - displayed that my name) - when we arrived at the hotel the driver said that there was no record - even though I showed him my phone that the app said that the ride was in progress. I ended up paying cash - and then when I checked 10 minutes later at the hotel - I saw that I was charged in the app. I wish I had read the reviews of the app first - as this same thing happened to somebody else. When performing the option to dispute the charge in the app - I was able to fill out an email with the details. The response that I got back was that they are a payment processor only - and gave me the contact info of the Taxicab company - and essentially denied responsibility. Save yourself drama and pay cash and avoid this app.

This is a very clunky app. It took a good eight minutes to setup while in the cab, only to find the driver had disabled the pairing screen, presumably to push customers to pay in cash.

What is even the point of this app? I tried repeatedly to pair with the taxi I was in from O’Hare, and all it gave me was an error message. Why would I even use this app as opposed to just paying with my credit card via the in-car card reader?
