Careem – rides, food & more

Basically each time I order the driver come 2 km always and I have to walk looking for him. Every time driver on the road creates the dangerous situations and I wander how they get driving license. The application itself very uncomfortable and confusing in terms of writing address. They charge you if driver is waiting 2 mins but if the driver comes 5/10mins late - nobody charges the driver. The way they speak to you and treat is something unbelievable, you will be always guilty and they never use brain to find solution if they don’t have change or gps stopped.

Списали 2 платежа, пока не обнаружил авто подписку. Карта не привязана в приложении. Удалить подписку без техподдержки не получается, если кнопка и есть, то сильно скрыта. Возвратов платежей не делают.

They steal items from shipping and don't refund. Support writes in direct text that this is the company's policy. That is, Careem's policy is to steal money from customers.

Good luck getting help. They don’t even show a support phone number in the app

Can you link a Union Pay card? This is a huge disadvantage

It shows lot of cars in 5 mins but always refunds money. Better use Uber as they really arrive. Hate careem for pushing to purchase them because they “always on time” that is lie. I can not get any careem car (all tariffs) as they stopped operations after the rain. No cars really available but they push in app that everybody is ready to drive you to home. Shame on you, careem!

1. Actual price is always higher than the "promised" fare range upon ride request. This is a big disadvantage compared to other ride companies which tell you EXACT fare for a ride (i.e. Yandex Taxi). 2. App often does not know where a car is located. It is kms away and next moment "the driver has arrived". 3. Careem cancelled Rewards programme without warning and all reward points became useless. Still, Careem keeps awarding points which accumulate on my account. Same with Careem Gold. 4. They charge peak fares without warning. Check their help page: 1) first you agree to peak fares, 2) then to the actual peak factor - two steps where you should click the button before you order a ride. In reality the app does not have any of that. 5. I have never been able to sign up for Careem plus - it is not in the Settings. Careem support claims this should work. Well, it does not.

Not nice company at all. Couriers can barely speak English. Not reliable at all. Recently the courier took the parcel couldn't find the address. And returned the item back. However, i asked to leave it at reception. Careem charged me 110aed for not qualified employees. Nice company!) Top service 🤣 better use Yango + its cheaper, and much much better drivers and couriers )
