Carmel - Car, Taxi & Limo

Ordered a SUV paid $144 plus tax $163.30 although we have only 3 pax but as there is 6 pieces of luggages but came a normal sedan car $96.00 , almost twice the price . The driver received notice that there is only 3 passengers w 3 luggages . we didn’t want to wait as it was late already and have to squeeze ourselves into the small car to our destination which is 30 minutes away . Called the center and sent an email numerous times and when they called back said that need more time to investigate and refund the difference . My trip was on 21 August and till 4 sept , they are still investigating and waiting for the manager to approved !!! Every call same answer , manager has not approved . We are still investigating . Totally disappointed with their service and never gonna engaged the service again .

Easy to use. Driver was punctual and arrived at airport smoothly, even though there was slight traffic. Overall, great experience!

I have used Carmel three times. Each time was a huge disappointment. Twice I used them to pick me up at JFK and ended up waiting around for well over 30 minutes before I had to call them to see where my car was. Today, GPS showed the car sitting just outside the airport entrance not even moving. I don’t know how long I would have waited if I did call them. Same thing the last time they picked me up at JFK. Once they brought me to JFK. A TOTAL DISASTER. Twice the driver missed the entrance to the terminal so and we had to drive around in a circle and leave the airport and come back. He would have missed the entrance the third time but I screamed at him to move over to the off ramp. If I had to check bags for that flight, I would have surely missed it. As it was I had to run to my gate and just made it. I will never use them again. The stress is just not worth it.

Yes. Our experience with Carmel has been excellent. Very punctual in picking us up both at home and at the airport. Their links to locations as the car nears our pick up is helpful, and the reminders of the reservation the day before and day of are very essential to putting our mind at ease. Their perks, coupons and rewards are generous in making the costs very competitive.
