User unfriendly. Difficult use. Can’t change address , can’t talk anymore after closing deal . Cheating app . Bully seller , unfair .
Seriously upset, with the over charging to my credit card, I believe this site is not a scams but still make me feels so, please refund the balance to my account... 😡🤬😡
Terrible. If I could give zero stars I would. So called “experts” who falsely inflate the prices and after the sale is done and you’re not satisfied with the item because what you receive is not as per the pics, you cannot return it (there is zero customer protection here). Extremely high commission fees for both the seller and buyer. BUYER BEWARE.
On this site there is only one street address allowed so if you have two or more of them then good luck !!! Changing from one address to another is virtually impossible, in spite of their instructions, because they block the field where the country name is displayed. So changing the address is virtually impossible. Furthermore no help as no outs-bud man so once you get a problem nobody will help you; as no address and no phone number to call, example: if you paid for a lot and do not get it no one will help you to force the seller to send. Please all watch this site as it is very poorly managed and it cost a lot: buyer pays 9% and sellers pays 12,5% so they get in total 21,5% of each transaction for doing absolutely nothing !!! Smart business but will be of short duration if not improved !
It’s one of the most frustrating website / app I have ever used in the last 20 years. They want to collect 9% fee for every auction you win; but they service they render is not worth 0.1%. God help u if u need to return an item that u r not satisfied with. I sent their customer support on the 25th of August to inform them that I wish to seek a return and refund. And asked them for advise on how to proceed. Today is the 19th or SEPT, and I have yet to get a clear answer. Why call your department customer support if u can’t provide any useful support? Shopping online is supposed to be stressed free. Yet this app / website are so badly designed and managed that I totally regretting spending thousands of dollars on. Once I get my money back, I will never use this app / website again. Other examples (at the top of my head) of why this is a badly thought out app/ website : 1) search engine is pathetic. It doesn’t allow u to even see the items from highest price to lowest price 2)the only way to contact them is thru their customer support link in the app / website. After I sent my messages, there is no acknowledgment to say that my messages have been sent. Worse still, there is not even a record of the sent messages in my yahoo mail ( they use your default email address to send messages to them). So I have no way of telling if my messages were indeed sent. And when one don’t even get a reply for 3 weeks... one naturally wonders what the heck is going on , on their end. Do I send the item back to seller immediately or what? 3) there is nowhere on the app/ website for anyone to leave a FEEDBACK on Catawiki. There is no number for me to call. No supervisor or manager that I can turn to for help. Just tat very lame customer support link that doesn’t provide any support. In all my years of shopping online / on an app, I have never had to wait this long for instructions on how to return an item (tat wasn’t represented accurately in the first place). Catawiki U need to get your act together. And PLEASE get back to me re my questions send to your customer support on the 25th August on how to proceed w returning an item. I have spent thousands on this website. This is no way to treat your paying customers.
I’m an avid watch collector, you can locate me @thesingaporeanwatchbaron (Instagram). I believe that you need to introduce filters to your app and website, in order for people to filter their search results and rearrange the results to reflect current bids from high to low. Estimates from high to low, etc. Like other auction websites do. Try searching “Rolex” on your app or website, and you’ll get thousands of results, arranged haphazardly. One lot could be $300 and the direct next below it could be $30,000, and the next one below that could be $500. It makes no sense!
I download this site one week ago. I liked it and it was fun. Not sure about quality of what I will receive, but I spent several thousands dollars US on this site. I had a very hard time navigating thru the payment system, and having already been able to pay more than few thousands dollars, I received a threat for penalty on a small item I was not still able to settle the payment after 3 days. And the penalty was 50% of the price of the item !!! Crazy !!! Run away from this site not to experience same disappointment.... Sorry it was fun but my trust is over now. Many more auction site to play with.
