Cateye Cycling

On one side, this is the best cycling app in terms of connecting peripheral equipment and sensors. And it is FREE! On the other side, the new interface is a huge disappointment for me… Firstly, the labels and fonts - labels are capitalised, grey colour and small font size -VERY difficult to read them when cycling, especially if it is a sunny day. Data fields are in huge fonts, placed very close to each other - it is difficult to tell one from another at a quick glance while cycling. Take a look at Runkeeper app - nice round bold fonts, all field titles are in caps - no small letters, clean and clear, all fields are separated one from another, one quick glance is enough to see what you want. I have a feeling that the app was tested in a comfortable chair and good lightning, not on the bike, where there are many other factors. Icons are strange (colours and etc.) and are placed close to each other and other controls - very difficult to press what is needed on the go. Please note that iphone adds it’s own < Search field in the upper left corner, just where the app icon for return is located… The app screens - they are swiped until you get to the map - from there it is not clear how to swipe back - somewhere in the upper part of the screen, but not at the top? It’s a quest every time… Why not at the bottom of the screen or somewhere on the scrollbar (which does not work on that screen)? Looking forward for the app to gain user-friendly interface :)

Permanent light in night mode will be great! Add auto pause please! Thanks a lot!

После обновления не видно показателей пульса и мощности на основном экране. (Iphone4s) добавьте зоны пульса. Хорошее приложение, надо доработать!

Avec la dernière version ios je ne suis plus capable d’afficher à l’écran la cadence, même si que cadence sur toutes les fenêtres dans la programmation. Pourtant avec un Samsung tout fonctionne

Je possède un Padrone Smart Plus. J’ai parfois l’impression que les données venant de mon capteur cardiaque et capteur de puissance sont différentes de la réalité. Souvent supérieur au chiffres analysés avec Zwift. Aussi, parfois en route le compteur perd la connexion de mon IPhone. J’ai cherché comment régler tout ça mais je n’ai rien trouvé...

It was working fine before but recently it stopped recording and drop connection at 60mintues in the ride. Very annoying as it messed up my ride data. It’s a good app if you don’t ever ride longer than 60 minutes.

Belle introduction à l’acquisition de données. Cette application fonctionne si vous ne voulez pas collecter trop de données. Pour l’utilisation intérieure, oubliez ça, l’application va juste faire une moyenne de votre vitesse. J’ai récemment utilisé un capteur de puissance, cadence, vitesse et HR et le capteur de puissance capte de façon intermittente alors qu’avec d’autre je n’ai jamais eu de problème de déconnection. En transférant les donnés vers Strava, les graphiques données de vitesses ressembleront à des dents de scie ( pic à 43 km/h et redescente à 26 km/h alors que je roule constant autour de 30-35.). Je trouvais intéressant d’avoir la possibilité d’ajouter des capteurs, avec la combinaison du padrone smart mais je dois dire que je suis un peu déçu du produit. Je m’attendais à plus considérant que j’avais toujours eu des cateye analogique avant qui fonctionnait à merveille..je donne 2 étoiles pour la facilité d’utilisation de l’appareil....

The app says there are issues with ios10 but picked up a new iPhone 7 which has ios10 already on it so didn't have a choice in terms of iOS version. Now when I go to start a ride and try to connect to the head unit via blue too the the app just crashes immediately. Please fix this asap, not a fan of riding around with a useless head unit.

Impossible de mettre à jour l'odomètre de votre vélo; lorsqu'on le fait sur le cyclomètre, en synchronisant avec l'iPhone, ce dernier remet la vieille donnée.

Good app but it is always tracking your location even when the app is not used. It was running for 6 hours the other day and iPhone5S battery was still showing 25% left. Remember that with such apps you should not leave your display on all the time or it will drain battery fast.
