Topped up through the app and through Paylah! Do something bout your app! $50 is alot! It has not been refunded.. and i cant even topped up my ezlink card

The app has issues linking with UOB for card payment. It’s truly annoying that it eventually worked for me to make payment for two times and failed again while I needed another top up at the gantry. How is it all other shopping apps have no issues with payment gateway but this is our nation’s transportation system and it’s so buggy ?

I can’t add my DBS account. It says Error encountered! Please try again. During the set up, it asks for sms OTP, 6 digits, every digit I need to toggle my keyboard to display digits. So total 6 toggle. And after painstakingly input correct OTP, it goes to the above error message. I have previously added a top up by credit card. The card is no longer available so I wanted to set up a new auto top up credit card. But I couldn’t! I have tried 4 different credit card and debit card, they all failed.

Upon opening the app, the ezlink app requests for local network permissions which as far as I can tell is unnecessary for an app to top-up and track a PUBLIC TRANSPORT card/account’s transactions. I can only assume this is to track users’ every movement and for fingerprinting Wi-Fi networks; such a thing is not necessary for any other purpose I can think of, even security. We’ve had enough privacy invasions and surveillance from ERP2.0 and broken TraceTogether promises. Also, the app requires you to sign up and provide your email to ‘receive exciting promotions and rewards’, in order to use the app. There is no checkbox to uncheck. On the other hand, other stored-value apps just require you to tap the card via NFC to check the balance, no registration or forced ads required. Stop supporting 1984-style forced surveillance, tracking and advertisements. Don’t use this app. I will continue to use the manual booths at MRT stations and use a non-SimplyGo card.

This is the most convenient thing for the commuters! Also to cope with the queue at the top up machine! brilliant!
