Ganbaru is filled with so much choice in any style of training that you are after. It’s also even further customisable to add extra exercises in each days workout. It keeps you motivated to improve your training and create discipline in your workouts. The best!
This app is fantastic! It has so many different exercise programs, nutrition info and other educational content. It’s great for beginner gym goers and experienced lifters/athletes. Only have good this to say about it
I’ve been a subscriber of Ganbaru for 2 years and after my free subscription was up I knew that this was exactly what I needed for my workouts. Now with the AWESOME update the flexibility on how I train, what programs to follow and the ability to create my own workouts and programs, it has made training SO much better and fun AND never boring! There are so many coaches on this app to assist you and an amazing community of gym enthusiasts ready to give their advice if you need it. Thanks to Coach Eugene and his team of experts in all aspects of this app for making this new update possible! You guys rock 🌟
I have been using the programs in the app for 1 year now, (had membership for two) I’ve run several programs so far and love the style and programming and how the intensity builds in each phase. Highly recommended !! Takes the guess work out of anyone’s routine , if the particular session seems a bit short (some are) I just add in some extra exercises that complement that days body part trained.
App and server always times out at least once a week. Same issues that does not seem to be fixed, if I wasn't on lifetime membership I would have moved back to MFP.
I’ve been using this app for nearly 3 years now. It’s the best fitness and diet app I’ve used. There’s been a bunch of updates, new programs and features added over the years which has been cool too.
I’m a long time recreational gym junkie and so glad this app was created! I no longer need to spend hours trying to write my own program or carry my training diary & pen around to the gym. The programs have been expertly written and the app is awesome! It’s not without its ‘bugs’ but Eugene is constantly making changes to improve user experience. I’m time poor so being able to head straight to the gym and do my workouts is the greatest. Can’t live without this app!
I’m an intermediate to advanced female trainee, typically keeping the intensity high (anywhere from 0-2 RIR, depending on the exercise). I started with « Women’s Prime » program and found the volume too high and the exercise selection non-coherent most of the time. By the time I finished the leg-portion, I was too exhausted to finish the upper body section. On Day 2, there are 2 variations of RDLs which left my hamstrings feeling fried and took me 3 days to recover, so I couldn’t complete the volume for the week (please note there are RDL’s scheduled on other days too). « Women’s Hybrid » is high-volume for upper body and minimal volume for legs; isn’t is common knowledge that women want a nice booty? Then, I looked at the « High Volume Glutes » and there is NOT ONE movement for the quads; every single exercise is « glute focused ». I gave up as I would end up with a very unbalanced physique if I kept going. Finally, the food tracker doesn’t recognise basic worldwide brands nor the barcode scanner comes up with a result (I’m in Australia and so is the owner of Ganbaru), so I ended up having to enter everything manually. Too many bugs too. Overall, not worth the price. Ladies, go check Brett Contreras and Dr. Mike Israetel. Those guys get it when it comes to women’s physiology and physique goals.
Been weightlifting (largely trial-and-error through endless YouTube guidance) for 10+ years now, but have never found a resource as user-friendly and utterly game-changing as the Ganbaru Method app + programming suite. A big thanks to the creator, Eugene Teo, for making this incredible resource available to ordinary punters like myself. Could not recommend more highly: 10/10.
