Gizmo: AI Flashcards

I upload a file but not all the information was transformed to flash cards, you need to improve the app to transform all the information in the file to flash cards because some topics like medicine (esp. surgery), couldn’t be missing

Im a grad student going for his doctorates and I have not found a better studying app worth my time than Gizmo. The time I have saved using the ai feature to make flash cards has made my studying 100x more efficient. The overall concept behind the app is amazing and I am grateful for the creators of it! However, having used another flashcard program called Anki I would say that the only area Gizmo struggles to compete in is the active recall component. Whenever I am studying a deck with over 100+ cards, I notice the program struggles to give me older cards and keeps repeating the same ones even though I’m guessing them correctly. I believe the spaced repetition should be better tuned to bring up older cards faster so that I don’t have to wait 30 days whenever I guess a card right 3 times in a row because I guarantee you I will not be guessing that correctly a month from now and starting out that card cycle all over again. Where as a program like Anki will have you see that same card a day from now, then maybe 3 days then 10 days and so on. The only other thing I would say could make the app perfect is having more options when it comes to selecting the type do flash cards you want to like “mixed” “true or false” etc. Gizmo has 2 options, either mix all of them or only 1 other type a time which I think is a flaw because sometimes I only want to do certain types but I want more than one and not all of them if that makes sense. Other than that I truly do love the app I’ve been using to study for my state board exams and I feel confident in my ability to pass them with Gizmo!

It’s life savior !!!!thank you for this app but I have a request The size of the letters is a bit small can u please make something so that we can change the size of the letters for whater we want? Especially on iPad and laptop it is so hard to read My second one is Can u please add voice to read the texts? Like the one in translation With all my respect🌸

i love this app it helps me study usually i use it for human anatomy and ap us history and i always get high grades im surprised its not higher in the education charts to be honest

So many bugs. Half the time you get an error message just for opening the app…

Helpful but can be buggy. Ran into a few issues and the app can be confusing, but I think it’s a very very useful tool for studying and retaining info long term.

You should include a periodic table for chemistry

Okay, so the app is fine, but it could use some help. I’ve been using the app to study and it’s just recently stoped functioning. What I mean by that is that when I import the cards by taking a photo of them, it just won’t load, and not this isn’t an internet problem. A thing I also dislike is that you only get ten chances (ten hearts) and if you lose all of them you simply just can’t continue unless you have a subscription. The point of learning is to get something wrong no matter if you get everything wrong. You focus of the things you fail on and improve. That is learning, not stressing if you lose all then hearts. However I do understand that the creators need income and stuff like that, but I do think they could resolve this problem and make better out of it. The app is okay overall 3/5.
