Hostaway Channel Manager

Im giving a one star rating in the hopes that they revert the calendar look back to what it was. Since the new update, days blocked out are a solid colour….its horrible to look at. The app itself is great though…new look is just terrible.

I’ve been using this to manage 30+ short term rentals for 2 months now and it’s been amazing so far. Looking forward to this app being further tweaked and optimised to enhance and simplify the hosting process even further. Easily the best app if you manage more than 10 properties.

The parent listing should not display the child listing reservation details but simply blocked.

I had a problem with getting my Hostaway Financial Reports to balance correctly. Safna from Hostaway was knowledgeable, efficient , pleasant, and most importantly extremely patient with me as she assisted me to build the formulas correctly in the Financials and Coupons menu, within the Settings Menu.

We have used this for a few weeks and it’s so easy to use. Great integration with OTA’s. Highly recommend. Onboarding is very thorough.

I pay a premium to be with Hostaway. Their app is very subpar for what we pay. Looking to switch our portfolio to something else. The app is one of the main reasons.

I miss the old update when I was actually able to see the numbers on my calendar. I also hate that there are spaces between my check and check outs that occur on the same day. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD LAYOUT

As a STR host, there is a lot that I love about Hostaway. The main website interface and App have undergone recent improvements and are modern and easy to use for syncing calendars, messaging guests and overseeing financials. That said, Hostaway PLEASE improve the “listings” functionality and descriptions to make them more user-friendly in updating listing descriptions and photographs. The interface looks like it is from 20 years. Badly outdated and poor functionality. The customer service also needs work - PLEASE add a chat live function. Emailing a help desk and getting a response the next day is too slow when we as host are working to respond quickly to guests. Excited to see what Hostaway can do with its new funding money and look forward to more improvements going forward.

The app has very limited functionality. If I want to do anything I have to go to the website.

The app is convenient for looking at Calendar and Messages but other than that does not allow you to do much. You have viewer update, listings or direct booking site still have to go on the web-based platform to make any major changes.
