Klarna | Shop now. Pay later.

I wanted to try Klarna because its concept sounds great. Within a few minutes, I can split the payment into three installments. I chose a product worth 37,999 CZK. The account creation process went relatively smoothly and quickly. However, in the end, it was not three equal installments, as the first installment was 21,750 CZK. Klarna blocked 21,750 CZK on my account, which meant I couldn't use that money from June 22nd. Moreover, on July 3rd, instead of taking the blocked money, Klarna made another withdrawal of 21,750 CZK, which meant I was without 43,500 CZK for four days. Klarna's support is at a very low level. When I tried to resolve the situation, I first communicated with an ineffective chatbot that didn't help. After lengthy persuasion, a person joined the chat who was also unable to solve my problem and release the blocked money. I can imagine a situation where someone is managing their money very tightly, and Klarna could bring their account balance to zero. I would definitely not recommend this service.

I’m using it second time and it works really great. It has automatic reminder so you can prepare enough money for the payment, easy to use, very useful. Just I’m not sure how are you making money on it?😄

There are a lot of shops in app which are available for buying, but… you can’t buy, because this functional hasn’t been delivered yet. And it is total disaster. I don’t understand how Apple allows such fake functional in app. This is answer from Support: “ The pink Pay now button will be available once we enable One time cards in Czech Republic, which we are working on. In a meantime, you can simply shop with selected merchants and select Klarna at the checkout. “ I don’t understand how Klarna realised functional which still doesn’t work.

Vzdy jsem bez problému platila s klarnou,bohužel po posledni aktualizaci nejde dokončit žáden nákup. Je to bída,na chatu mi zatim nikdo neporadil. Snažim se platbu dokončit a když se to stane po několikate,tak vam to napiše že jste dosahli denniho limitu-přesto že člověk nic nekoupil.Jsem zklamaná. Předtim bylo naprosto vše v pořádku.

Zkoušela jsem dvakrát uhradit objednávku na Footshopu a dvakrát se něco pokazilo. Poprvé jsem si popletla šipku zpět a odešla jsem z rozpracované objednávky zpět do appky Klarny a neslo se vrátit (tím ze jdete do e-shopu přes klarnu, tak ty dvoji buttony jsou matoucí). Podruhé se cela appka sekla při foceni dokladu. Opět nešlo objednávku dokončit. Je co zlepšovat.

You can no longer create a one time card. Inconvenient. Stupid! I was never declined for credit. Why you research this issue before sending a uneducated generic response to the review.

Went on Klarna website to purchase from American Eagle then it only gave me an after pay option which I don’t have Love Klarna usually just not with this decision deception)= still will continue with Klarna because it’s super helpful with a lot of my other responsibilities

I made a return and they did not adjust the price even though I had my return receipt. Called them many times to resolve this issue and nothing got done. I was charged for an item even though I had proof that I returned it. STAY AWAY

I have used Klarna for years now and have never had a problem until recently. The entire layout of the app has changed and you can no longer do split payments on the Klarna card which is ridiculous because that’s what Klarna is known for. It’s not worth keeping around anymore if it can no longer do the one thing it’s known for.
