good app, but gems???
What is the point of paying a subscription if at least 70% of the stories are only read if you buy gems? I had the annual one before they implemented this gem bs, but i won’t pay it again and def not recommend it
Gem and Subscription
I really like the stories, the app works fine, and I understand the need to support the artists. However, I already pay the subscription and suddenly I can't read manta comics I had read before because they are only available if we buy gems. I don't think it's right to block the access to who is already paying monthly or yearly. I think the gems are nice for people who don't want to pay for everything and only the ones they are reading. At the very least I'd like access to the ones I had already read and wish to revisit.
used to be better
I already pay for a subscription, but lately most new novels require plus paying for gems. Gems are very expensive. Unfortunately, over time I probably will canceling the subscription and read in another app.

You make me pay a subscription plus gems to read novels and comics? I know the authors and artists need to be paid, but If I pay a subscription I should already have access to everything!! The subscription is very misleading. If I’m going to have to buy gems anyways, let me just pay for the comics and not need the subscription.
