Works with the new Trident 660 after updating motorcycle firmware at the dealer. You have to keep the program open if you want the app to recalculate the route in case of a wrong turn. It is much easier to mount the phone on the bike and use google maps for navigation instead. You can not long press and select any destination, or easily correct the end goal. you have to search for an exact address, or drop a pin manually. The bike shows fuel consumption of 4,5l per 100km, the app shows 11l per 100 km. It is very strange. I think this is because the app does not recalculate the route automatically, nor maps your real-time position. When you change destination in the app, it starts a new ride, and it does not track your movement if the app is running in the background. In my opinion the app is not very useful for navigation and ride tracking as it is. For example, I planned a route and started navigation, but used a different road. The app logged the original route proposed by the app, it did not notice my detour. Devs please update the app, so that we could start and end custom rides, and use this app in the background.

Well well with iPhone 14 , no issues on my Tiger 1200

First, I use an apple 8 series phone unit. When it was still available. I wouldection bypass turn before it would register. Yes not the ideal gps but helps. But now is it possible to allow us old timers to use the use the apple 8 series and just post that version with updates please. Otherwise a waste even connecting. If possible just to post me the old software so that I can still use it or just put on site and state for older models please William

Do you have an eta for support on ios 16?

I recently purchased the Bluetooth connectivity module for my brand new Scrambler 1200XE and I still have not been able to utilize turn by turn navigation as the app still won’t communicate with the bike. I have an iPhone 6S running iOS 14.2.

Does not support iPhone 6 plus. Crashes out continuously.

Reading other reviews it appears I’m one of the lucky ones … my phone has at least managed to connect to the bike (2022 Tiger 1200 GT Pro, iPhone 14, Cardo Packtalk Bold … pair the phone first using the menu on the TFT display, then use the app to pair the navigation, carefully making sure you follow the steps shown and be very patient), I can control the music and see who’s calling on the TFT display. However, even though I have managed to pair the phone, the navigation is utter rubbish! Let me explain … Turn-by-turn navigation simply can’t handle complex road layouts (if there is a quick succession of turns you *will* miss one because there is a lag between your phone’s GPS and the app) and if it has to reroute (because you missed a turn it told you about after you’ve gone past it) you have to wait a worrying amount of time before it gives you an alternative turn to take. This means you can miss alternative turns or, worse, have to turn around and go back or pull over and start again! I also found on my last ride that the maps aren’t as recent as they should be - I encountered junctions and roundabouts that weren’t even new (>5 years old) and the directions acted like they weren’t there at all. I figured it out as I have a sense of direction, others will not be so lucky. Also, it’s obviously not a bike-centric satnav … which is fine if you just want to get somewhere but no good if you want a more interesting route (which is what a lot of other bike satnavs offer). You can import GPX files from Google Maps and other apps, but be warned - if you do this it will not reroute at all if you miss a turn. On a positive note, the ‘free ride’ option is quite nice, but only as a record of where you went. That also suffers from a different problem where every so often it gives up for no reason and stops recording. Good job the connectivity module was standard with the bike and the app is free, otherwise I’d be really annoyed. As an app that allows you to control music and answer phone calls it works, but if you want a fun ride with the satnav giving you directions, don’t bother. Triumph, please take note and make significant improvements to this app. Making sure that the maps are up to date is a good start …!

This is rubbish, I have had fitted the Bluetooth connectivity module to my ‘22 Scrambler XE and no matter how many times I try to connect the Nav element does not work. Phone connect but Nav doesn’t and I’m running the latest app version, TFT updated and iPhone updated. TRIUMPH - HELP ME

November 2023, and the app still doesn’t work with iOS devices.
