Neurocycle

This thing work if you work it! Great guiding audio that explains things day by day; what you may be feeling, etc. it’s encouraging in times you might want to stop! I did my first Neurocycle on myself being negative. What did I mean by negative, when I was that way what did I feel? Was it effective? Where did it come from? Etc. it really opened my eyes to the why and to how ineffective and a waste of time being negative is. This has changed my perception of my thoughts and actions and has begun to give me space to choose a different response! New positive responses are downloading and coming soon! But the negative ones have mostly stopped in 21 days of nuerocycling!

I have done therapy for many years. I heard of Dr. Caroline Leaf on a podcast with Marisa Peers and wanted to read her book, Clean up your mental mess. That there is an app that guides you through the process she describes in the book is phenomenal. What a gift.

*Developer responded saying the issue was resolved the same day which is true but still does not negate the fact that the app needs work. This was not my first issue with the app. This was the third and the second issue led to me paying for the app for two years without knowing it. I know it’s still kind of new but the app is supposed to be optimized to use on the go and right now the web version is still better. Can’t recommend this app until it is more user friendly.* I signed up a year ago and thought I canceled. Turns out I had been paying for two years and had no idea and wasn’t using the service as intended. I finally canceled it and then updated the app and now I can’t log in at all to use what I paid for. It keeps telling me to subscribe. I was subscribed before I updated. The website is much better but something like this should have mobile access.

A decent app with some bad pitfalls. There isn’t a way to exit out by pressing the back arrow after day 21, instead it takes you to previous day meaning you lose your active reach and have to sit there and retake the progress quiz for another 5 minutes. AR notifications can be really hit and miss, some days they don’t show at all. They will sometimes completely stop working for weeks at a time. Very frustrating. Tech support will gaslight you and tell you that it is a problem with your device instead of helping fix the glitchy app.

I’ve done the Neurocycle process twice now and each time it’s life changing. Dr. Leaf is brilliant, encouraging, and this process truly improved my mental health and resilience. I recommend this app to anyone who wants to grow and think in a healthier way. Thank you, Dr. Leaf!

Content is life changing but the app isn’t working and the web app has been unreliable.

I started the Neurocycle app after brain surgery to assist in my recovery. I suffered an injury which led to a chronic condition which changed my life. After brain surgery, I wasn’t recovering as fast as I wanted and my short term memory was insufficient and my executive functioning skills were depleted. This triggered worry and fear in my mind that I would not be able to recover. Toxic thoughts that I never expected began to surface. The Neurocycle app has been so helpful in taking those thoughts captive. I am grateful for the tools Dr Leaf has made available and I can honestly say that the last 63 days using the app have accelerated my healing process. I am back at work and I am less worried and anxious. I still have a ways to go in my physical recovery, but my mind is healing my brain. I am starting the 63 day cycle over today!

I am so thankful for this app! I am currently on my second cycle and all I can say is that it works. I had been living with anxiety and toxic thinking for 4 years and didn’t know how to get rid of it. Within my first cycle, I felt a HUGE difference! The app is also on point with the feelings Dr.Leaf describes that could be happening that day of the cycle. This helped me realize that I was rewiring my brain and that I was healing. 🧠🕊️I love this so much because it honestly works. Since I wish someone would’ve recommended this to me years ago, I don’t hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family. 📖🎧I was also listening to her Audio book “cleaning up your mental mess” at the same time I was working On my first cycle. This was just extra to help me understand the process more and why it worked.

I really enjoyed using this app when going through some tough mental blocks. I liked having something consistent to do to process the situation. I need the daily reminders to keep me on track. Thank you Dr. Leaf for providing such a usefull app! :)

I’ve used this app a handful of times and have really enjoyed it. I like how it is organized and easy to use and the program itself is excellent in helping develop the mind.
