It hasn’t seemed to work right last year. I miss the old days when there was an Apple TV app. This year I got stuck in some weird circle where I payed for a year and when I wanted to watch a game it said I didn’t have a subscription. So, I assumed I didn’t have a subscription so I paid for a month on the Apple Store and same problem. I contacted support and they said I didn’t have a subscription. So I cancelled my Apple subscription and tried to pay again. This time it said I had a subscription and can’t pay for a new one. When I didn’t have one?! Now, I’m at the point where NHL support says I cancelled my yearly subscription and Apple refunded me… It started working. Anyways, support was horrible, they never read the mail clearly and it looked like they were just copy pasting. I was lucky if I got two e-mails in 24 hours and missed the start of the season. I’ll still pay for it because it’s the only option.

I could have sworn the app was better a few years ago. Now, the app experiences instability when streaming, cant sort games by team (you have to hunt games by clicking and scrolling incessantly, unguided). It’s hard to believe a professional sports league would sanction such a poor quality app.

Why is this app not on the US App Store??

I have subscribed to nhl tv in its various iterations for probably more than ten years. Over this period of time, it has gotten progressively worse, with the 2022/23 season reaching an all-time new low. As much as I love my hockey, this product just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Shameful!

I missed the moment when the Stanley Cup was won due to an API error that started just a minute before the final decision. The issue wasn’t resolved until about five minutes after the victory was declared. It’s absolutely frustrating, especially considering the high monthly fee I’m paying. They really need to improve their service.

I’ve had issues with this app all season long suddenly & repeatedly turning off during games. now on a very big day during the playoffs the app is having issues and all streams for every game is down. I believe a refund is in order. Nhl.tv could you reply to this!

Hiding score functions are good, but if the game is still live it starts playing it live without an option to start streaming from beginning (you have to choose it after it’s already started streaming). Multiple feeds, but they both say “national,” so you have to guess which one is Canadian and which is American. I’ve wasted many clicks! Sometimes the national feed isn’t even available, and I’m not even in a blackout zone. App could be a lot better.
