Nike Run Club: Running Coach

Sometimes it doesn’t finish recording a run as completed, especially if it’s a workout in a plan. I preparing for a half marathon using the 14 week plan and 1-2 workouts don’t appear as completed. Not a huge problem but a little annoying for sure.

I’ve been using this app for over a decade when it was a paid version. However, the past two years have been a nightmare. Every two to three days, the phone app gets logged out even though I use it at least five times a week. The Apple Watch app is even worse. It hangs on the start button and doesn’t load. I have to re-pair it repeatedly. Additionally, I’ve had numerous runs on the Apple Watch that haven’t synced to the iPhone app. Hope u guys fix this soon.

I love this app. It encourages me to keep running, and I love all the color levels and achievements. It helps me stay on track for the week, month and year!

I just completed my first Half Marathon Race and I used the NRC app to record the run. Everything went well till the end, I hit stop and I could see the run recorded on both my Apple Watch and my iPhone. But the run would not show up under activities on my NRC app (and was also non transferred to Strava). I could see the summary on the Lock Screen but nothing on the NRC app. I tried everything but nothing. Once I restarted the app (last resort) the run disappeared completely from both my watch and phone. Now I don’t have any record of the run, which is pretty annoying. I reached out to Chat support and the first CS member answered, told me they were gonna look into my issue and left me hanging for 1hr. I have now gone through 4 new chats and no one seem to be even responding to my first “Hi”. I made sure I got a real person instead of a bot, although I’m not so sure anymore. If you want for your runs to be tracked RELIABLY, stay away from this app. I will miss Coach Bennet though.

I’ve been a NRC user for years but recently been having some real issues! When logging runs from my phone my Apple Watch disconnects mid-run. I’m also unable to play anything but Apple Music - I love my Libby app and listening to books and running but that wasn’t working today. I hope this gets fixed or else I’ll need to find something else. I love the training programs and the tracking.

Every time I do an indoor run this app fails to log my miles. It’s worked maybe once or twice. I’ve updated all settings as necessary but nothing helps. I can run for 2 hours and receive 0.03 miles on the app. It’s so so frustrating because the guided runs are actually enjoyable. It’s such a waste to not fix these types of errors for your users.

I’ve been using the Nike Run Club app for years, but as of January 2025, every time I try to listen to music, YouTube, or any other media while running, the Nike Run Club app turns down the volume permanently of everything, so after I am finished running, the volume will spike really loudly and burst my eardrums. Lawsuit incoming? I’d rather switch to Strava. Thanks and have a nice day.

I really like using the guided runs on this app and the training plans. The only thing is I have used my Apple watch connected to the app but it doesn’t sync my runs to the phone app. It’s really frustrating because a few runs got lost because of this and I have to have my phone on me to measure my runs.

I am doing one of the Nike training programs and the app will only log my runs when it’s outside with location services turned on. I have an iPhone and Apple Watch as well if that is apart of the issue.

Here to thank everyone who works on this app. It’s changed my life! I went from never running to running my first half marathon and crushing my pace in short 9 months! I tell everyone who asks how I did it to download this amazing app. Here’s to many more starting lines!!
