Watch app is not good

Plans and guidance in the main app is good but the watch app is pretty useless as you can’t use it without having the phone (technically you can but it doesn’t use the watch GPS so no distance or pace information is shown). I’d recommend the Intervals Pro app which has all the templates for each N2R week as it’s much better for using for the actual workouts!

I used to run a lot. A long time ago. Then after doing the Manchester marathon I stopped. Put on weight. Then took up cycling (which I still love). A few weeks ago I was talked into doing the Manchester 10k next year so laced up my pumps and started again with the NoneToRun app. Hands down the best programme I’ve tried. No messing - no frills - just decent intervals and a focus on time not distance or speed. I love it. So much so I’ve signed up for a 10k in November this year to put it into practice. If you’re looking for an app that will make you fall in love with running (or fall back in love after a break) then this is the one for you.

I am loving this app so far. For new or returning runners, I love that the focus is simply on increasing time running, without any the potentially added pressure of distance or speed - I would find that far too much at the this stage. I use on my Apple Watch and just have the vibration to indicate the start, middle or end of a interval, which is perfect for me. Thank you!
