Owlet Care Частые Вопросы

Является ли Owlet Care фейковым или мошенническим?
⚠️ Приложение Owlet Care имеет низкие оценки и отрицательные отзывы. Пользователи, похоже, недовольны его качеством или функциями.
Please develop an app for Apple Watch or other smart watches or build a widget for IOS.
Any of this solution can really help to quickly and useful monitor data on the regular basis. At the moment it is hard to go to the app each time for example if you need to see data every minute or a couple of minutes because when you block phone or close the app next time when you open it take some time to reload (shows old results and you wait when it will be refreshed).
Also please add an option to change UI language inapp.
If you develop notification settings (for example set up a notification for O2 lower than 93% etc) you will make lots of people happy and healthy.
Thanks
Server error
After trying to connect to another WiFi, I got server error and support offered me to delete baby profile and create the new one. But I want all my historical data back!
Also please add ability to export historical data, so I be able to import it to another application that holds all other vitals of my baby
Unreliable
We got this product because of the sock to have some more peace of mind. Sock was great but now we just use the camera as a monitor and the app and/or camera is buggy and unreliable. We leave it on background audio and then sometimes the camera turns off or we open the app and it’s not showing the live feed any more. Shame for how expensive the product is
Good Product, WiFi Issues
Good products:
Camera: sound video temperature and humidity readouts all brilliant.
Sock: also fantastic readouts, gives you a good indication of how asleep your baby is and you can start to predict when your baby is stirring.
Initial WiFi connectivity: Holy ****, this seriously needs some work. Takes 3/4 attempts to connect a WiFi to the camera as the setup glitches out but doesn't tell you. God help you if you want to change the WiFi network theyre connected to - there's no process for this in the app and you have to reset both devices entirely.
Its impossible to connect
Such an expensive piece of tech that does connect only to 2.4g. It makes it impossible to connect. Do not waste your money.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Expensive and doesn’t connect to your phone. Major upgrades required.
Nightmare connecting to WiFi
In general the app is good but WiFi connection is a nightmare and the guidance is pretty poor
Rubbish
Camera disconnects in the night.
When ‘back ground audio’ is on, it alerts you to baby being awake- check the app and the picture is frozen still. Have to close and reopen the app.
Camera also disconnects in the night and manually needs reconnecting so not reliable at all. Want my money back as need to buy something new.
Awful app especially for IOS
Invested in a camera and sock for peace of mind as I was extremely paranoid about SIDS. We stopped using the camera after a few days because of the lag, sometimes it wouldn’t even load. As for the sock it’s a great concept and we do still use it however on the graph to show sleep cycles there are gaps (some of them can be as long as an hour where it’s not picked anything up.) I did speak to someone from support and they said it might be down to the cleanliness of the sock however I clean it regularly, they then suggested it might be because my baby is moving but my baby doesn’t move for an hour continuously when she’s sleeping, plus if she is wriggling too much then the alarm will sound for a placement issue. When me and my husband were looking into this further he could see more cycles than I could (he is a Samsung user) so we realised then a lot of the issues came from the app from iOS although there were some discrepancies with his just not as much. I would maybe shop around for some alternatives and use this as a very last resort. Its a shame because out of everything we purchased I looked forward to using this the most however it has been a total let down.
Needs Improvement in Basic Functionality
I’ve encountered several issues with this app that make it inconvenient to use, especially as a parent relying on it for baby monitoring. Firstly, as many users have noted, there’s a recurring problem where the camera feed freezes when you leave the app and return. To get the feed updated, I often have to close and reopen the app, which is frustrating and time-consuming, especially when quick access is essential.
Additionally, I have two cameras set up—one for each of my children. However, when motion is detected, the notification only says “Cam: Motion Detected,” without specifying which camera triggered it. This lack of detail turns monitoring into a guessing game, as I have no way of knowing which room the motion occurred in. It would be much more practical if the notifications specified the camera name or location, making it easier to respond promptly.
Overall, these are significant oversights in the app’s functionality that could easily be addressed to improve user experience. I hope the developers prioritize resolving these issues in future updates.
