Thanks for nothing
I had high hopes for the PantID and Care app, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. The app claims to be able to identify any plant and provide care tips, but it fails miserably in both aspects.
First, the plant identification feature is highly inaccurate. I tried using the app to identify common houseplants, and it either got them completely wrong or couldn’t identify them at all. It’s frustrating to think that I could have done a better job with a simple Google search.

I’ve trialled using this app, but it cannot identify even a common orchid or Parlor Palm.
Perhaps my photo quality on my phone isn’t the best, but I’ve followed the instructions and pictures are clear and in focus, still no identification or diagnosis aspects of this app work for me. At times the app just closes unexpectedly too.
Shame, I was looking forward to some care tips.

I have just moved into a new Townhouse with a lovely garden… I wanted to learn about the plants they had put into the garden. So, this App does it for me. So happy with it.😁

Says it is Australian 🇦🇺 plant identification but we are coming into Winter and spring care comes up! I just purchased lifetime app, not happy!
Scammers
first of all- check the options for subscriptions if you actually wanna use this app. There are so many subscriptions for different prices and there’s no difference in what you’re getting for $7 per week compared to $15 a week.
Secondly- I HAD a subscription and was being charged twice per week instead of once. They’ve taken twice as much money from me as they needed to. Don’t recommend.
Absolute rubbish!
Don’t bother it is garbage and doesn’t identify the simplest of plants!! Waste of money!
