It doesn't even recognize the plants I take photos of, and when it does the plants that comes up are very way off. Once you open the app, you have to get premium. What a waste.

As someone who has always struggled to keep plants alive, the app has been a game-changer for me. The app not only helps you identify various plants with ease, but it also shares incredibly helpful articles that provide clear and actionable guidance on how to care for them. Whether you’re a seasoned plant enthusiast or someone like me who needs a bit more help, the plant identifier makes plant care feel manageable and even enjoyable. The detailed care instructions and tips have helped me keep my plants thriving, which is something I never thought I’d be able to do! Highly recommend this app to anyone looking to improve their green thumb.

Like others I downloaded it expecting it to be free. It then required a subscription to actually use. I decided to pay for the subscription so I could identify some plants in my yard. I’m pretty certain that the subscription I agreed to is not the one I’ve been being charged for. When I went to cancel there were reasonably priced options, not the $10 a week version.

The concept of this app is great and I was super excited to use it and it did me identify several plants, but the accuracy can be hit or miss. Also, sometimes the care tips are a bit too general. Makes me feel like I still need to go outside the app to do more research.

Deceptive practices with subscription. Cannot unsubscribe from within the app (even though it says you can manage in settings). They’re trying to hook you on a free trial that is tough to cancel. Do not download.

Information given for plants are general info obtainable by google. At 9.99 a week, is just ridiculous. Thanks but no thanks.

Kept asking me to pay for an app every time I try to use it. When I would ex out and take the picture of my flower, I never saw saw any results.

I downloaded Plant ID because I just got my first plant and want to make sure I take great care of it. I like the app, it runs smoothly and has lots of great functions like reminders, chat support, and identification. The camera function to identify and check light levels has given me some trouble, as well as some articles not loading well. Those two things could be improved but overall a very useful app!
