Trading Problems
While this is a great and fun game, I find the trading system quite limited, especially due to the 100 meter requirement, which makes it virtually impossible to trade with friends obtained in raids or overseas. While this isn’t a game-ruining issue, it’s quite sad to see that I have a lucky friend in Singapore, and I barely ever visit, which makes it difficult to use the “Lucky Friend” function. The design of this limitation is understandable, due to the large amount of players who can go online to find a pokémon that they want through trading with strangers and therefore defeating the purpose of the game (to be active and move around), but this system can be easily bypassed by spoofers, and they shouldn’t be awarded for cheating when we, the regular players, can’t access trading with our friends overseas. Overall, the experience in the game is good, but this issue affects my gameplay more than I’d like.
