What an embarrassment. I guess they hired their developer team off of fiverr. What a joke of an app.

Smart hose timer is certainly the adopted son here with basic functionalities not available through the app and no integration options either. There should be a quick manual start stop option through the app, the only option should not be the quick default run. Allow decent integrations for the hose timer, allow start stop through the api (not only start quick default run, and you cannot stop it while it’s running). Even bulbs are compatible with Alexa/Google and IFTTT these days, the what’s your excuse? You call the product “Smart”, but it’s not very smart though.

App and controller are great, but it’s headed down the path of being annoying with how many things they try to sell you. Last two years they just keep trying upsells and add. For that, 3/5 stars. Actually. 2 stars. They promised and had HomeKit support at one point, it never worked. Still doesn’t.

Wish Apple/matter support would happen. Now that this is around maybe it would work better then the HomeKit support that went so bad. If this does not happen I may be forced to leave Rachio. Another thing is you can get all their offerings/supported products in Canada.

Very troublesome that you always seem to see an upsell offer when all you really want to do is turn on your sprinkler. Would not purchase again.
