RAD Video is an authorised application of the Royal Academy of Dance and contains video content from the RAD’s Graded and Vocational Graded Examinations in Dance for the study and development of RAD teachers and students. These syllabi challenge students to meet the highest technical and artistic demands of current ballet training and performance, while also providing a way to find enjoyment, achievement and self-expression through dance.
Each title can be purchased individually within the application, and the video content replicates that seen on the DVDs available for sale through RAD Enterprises, www.radenterprises.co.uk. Video content is then downloaded to your device, for viewing offline at your leisure. Further titles will be uploaded to this application for download over time.

One Problem
The content on the app is amazing but disappointing that there is content for boys Grade 6-7 but not girls. My daughter has been using the app to help her with her Grade 5 exam practice and it would be really useful as she continues to move forward
Terrible. App doesn’t recognise purchases
I bought the videos for my daughter to use on her iPad but the app does not work properly or recognise my purchase. Family sharing also doesn’t work, so the video is uselessly locked to my own phone. I’ve had to request a refund, I will be incredibly upset if I don’t receive it. Hugely unimpressed & disappointed.
Great programme - poor app
The programmes are amazing and a real class. BUT The family sharing is not working and buying cost is high. Such a shame
Not all grades on here
Great app and very useful - used it for all my exams so far. But I currently need the Grade 6 female syllabus, which is not on the app.
If the volume was louder it would be perfect !
Gorgeous and love the new features . Has really helped , but the Volume is so low ! Please could this be rectified as with any sort of student / background noise you just can’t hardly hear it x
Doesn’t work
Downloaded app and bought Advanced 1, but app does not work on my iPad. It opens to the first Royal Academy of Dance page and then just goes black and returns immediately to the home page and the app icon! Have tried reinstalling.
Works perfectly, ignore the bad reviews
Amazing resource for students to watch and learn outside of class. Perfect examples used (the dancers doing the demonstrations are Distinction students), audio is loud should you want it to be and it works landscape and portrait. Only worry/issue: RAD, where is grade 6&7 for girls. You have the boys version but not the girls? I can’t imagine having such an amazing resource as this and having to give it up at grade 6 when the choreography gets more complex!
Doesn’t work
I’ve just purchased Advanced Foundation and it’s not letting me play the syllabus. I hope I can get a refund.
No stars - Doesn’t work!
I’ve just purchased this app and after just 10 minutes it’s stopped working, can’t get anything to play on it - how do I get a refund???
