Rakuten: Cash Back App

Closed all my family members accounts as they thought that all accounts were linked to One member. All pending cashbacks are gone. DO NOT USE! Use great canadian rebates, Swagbucks, bing cashback, or capital one cashback They will suspend your account because your family members use Rakuten too and strike it as a duplicate account. Cathleen (Member Operations Analyst) lacks customer service and awful at customer support and should be terminated. Her judgement on closing the account was based on speculation and would cost this company as her decisions will lead to bad outcomes and terrible experience from customers.

Don’t waste your time with this app. I bought something through it, but they’re claiming I didn’t, even though I did. It’s a total scam—they don’t pay out the rewards they promise, and most of their campaigns seem fake. Super frustrating and disappointing. Avoid this app at all costs.

I’ve noticed several items cost more through Rakuten App than the suppliers app. Ridiculous!

Bought couple things from different stores. One store was 15% other store 20% cashback on under clothes and monitor. Never got reply from support and never got cashback. Seems like a scam!

I’m extremely disappointed with Rakuten. I invited my friend, husband, and son (all over 18) to join Rakuten and made a purchase specifically because of the cashback offer. I even bought a Dyson, expecting the cashback as promised. But now they’ve canceled all my cashback without a valid reason. This feels like a scam, and I’m considering returning the product because of this experience. Rakuten cannot be trusted, and I won’t be using or recommending their service anymore. Avoid uploading or using Rakuten—they don’t honor their promises.

Don’t expect they will pay you the cashback.

It’s cyber Monday and I can’t shop using it because the app won’t let me sign in . Been like this all day - no contact info on app to ask for assistance with signing in other than with password support which I’m not needing at this time :/ other than that i like the app a lot :( just think their app should have more contact supports
