Roadtrippers - Trip Planner

Started to use it 2 years and recommended it to many of the friends. It was the fantastic app, the best. Recently they limited amount of waypoints in a free version to only 7 (!). Basically pushing you to buy unfairly expensive annual license. Bye-bye Roadtrippers, you were good, but now you’re dead. Will miss you.

I don’t recommend it at all . While just make anyone nervous .

I've used roadtrippers for planning my US trip. While it does a good job at putting together multiple points of interest, it is a complete nightmare managing. 1. You can add participants to the trip, but they won't be able to amend it. It's a huge disadvantage for group trips. 2. Finding points of interest seems straightforward, but in fact gives you wrong selection, and found points constantly blink which makes the whole feature complete rubbish. 3. Instead of background saving, every single action renders app inoperable for good 5-10 seconds. In fact, the app does not save a single thing and just fetches data back and forth with the server. Way to go when you are traveling!

I used to love it for planning trips but now they make you pay to add more than 7 stops. Why do I even need an app to plan a trip with only 7 stops? I could just use Google Maps

Era lo mejor que había en este tipo de apps. La he usado para muchos viajes. Antes te permitía añadir 60 puntos de viaje en un mismo mapa. Ahora solo 7 y te cobra 30$ para añadir más. Lamentable la táctica de marketing. Lo siento pero no voy a pasar por ahí. Deberíais haber estudiado otro tipo de upgrades de pago más asequibles e inteligentes (packs de 100 puntos de viaje por 1$ ... etc...) Me paso a TripiT, Mapline o MapQuest

Nos está siendo muy útil para planear un viaje desde San Francisco a Las Vegas pasando por el parque de Yosemite. Necesitábamos sitios para parar entre destinos y Roadtrippers nos está aportando muchas ideas

Perfecto para road trips por USA.

I started with a site that helped me find overnight parking or inexpensive boondocking. It appears that no such facilities are listed in this app.

I used to loved Roadtrippers! I started using it in 2016, but every year they take more free options away to the point that now there aren’t any free options and I can’t even look at my old trips. I didn’t mind the ads, sad such a fun app has gone away

I used this app years ago and it seemed much better. Brought it back for a road trip we just took and here’s what I experienced. 1. The AI suggestions were cool, but clearly does not consider my interests or tastes!! 2. There were places we went to, restaurants, etc. that I could not find in the app and therefore could not add to the trip. 3. There is an ANNOYING badge icon on the app that is from the profile icon, yet when you open it, there is no clear way to clear it!!!! This could be a great app if they would fix for these unfortunate shortcomings.
