Scribd: 170M+ documents

I accepted a free trial and used my Apple ID to sign in to Scribd. The app works on my iPad but when I try to sign into the web account of Scribd on my computer it sends a code to my email and I never receive that. I have contacted Scribd and politely explained numerous times for two weeks. They sent me a temporary password which didn’t work! Guess want? The only way to cancel the so called ‘free’ trial is to sign into the web account and I have not been able to do so to this day. Avoid a ‘free’ trial with Scribd at all costs;) They are sharks!

I have canceled my subscription along ago and you still taking money from my account. Please I am asking for a refund and cancellation for my account as I can’t even login in in your website on google

I don’t have a sub they charge me like I have one. Taking it up with Apple as it’s theft.

I just found a bunch of my husband and I’s work on this website, and a quick search revealed waaay more from the D&D community. I don’t mind if people share our free content—which numbers in the 100s—but sharing premium content which helps us survive as artists is just wrong. That Scribd charges users to access pirated works is even worse.

I already have an account which I can login to from chrome but the app is trying to force a new subscription.

This is quite ridiculous. Can someone tell me what is going on?

I have signed up as I wanted to listen to audiobooks that was the search I made. I only see documents and books not audiobooks.

Dont use they dont answer phone they dont answer emails they took a payment out that never showed on apple account i tried resolving they didnt answer phone are email this is a scammers

It is a big lying to cancel anytime, I spent 4 hours to finally can cancel my subscription

Cancelled my Scribd subscription back in November of 2022 through Apple. Received confirmation from Apple that it wouldn’t charge me any further. However, unbeknownst to me, Scribd somehow acquired my credit card info, and restarted charging me every month. It was on a credit card I rarely use and had set to auto-pay, and only noticed recently. It has been a nightmare going back and forth from Apple to Scribd, as both say the other one is at fault. I’m going to have to work through my credit card company and just do a charge back and stop payment. Both Apple and Scribd dropped the ball, and both are making it very difficult to get any refund or at the very least, the charges stopped. Buyers beware!
