Too much p2w, was a extremely good game season 1-3 then fell off massively. Enjoyed it while it lasted if you thinking about downloading this don’t time is over for this

Played this game for about a year, all was fine at first until server merge and the attitude of some players who want to buy their way to the top not using any strategy except spending big bucks. Of course the developers want this as it is money for them, but does ruin what is quite a good game.

Had a lot of promise is seasons one, two and three. It then went down hill to a cash grab. The Devs are only concerned with cash grabs and keeping whales happy. Bugs have gone unfixed since week one, they only fix them if they negatively affect whales, not a normal or small player. The match making system is not a fair system. It is lead by what one particular gang wants. The devs have crafted a monster on one server that is so big that no other servers can compete. It would take three full servers to compete with the one gang of whales. Do not waste your time or money.

As part of a daily sign in bonus, they awarded 5000 of 2.5k hero exp which could be boosted x2, x6 and x18 for £135 total. As hero exp is so difficult to get in game, many players jumped at the opportunity to buy this and thought it was a nice Christmas present. After 7 days of this promo being up, they then decide that it’s wrong and then take ALL awarded exp back from all players, rollback any levels gained on heroes and reduce the awards to less than 36 of 2.5k exp. Players purchased a product as it was advertised and then this company later went in and reset everyone’s accounts, gave no refunds (only some minor in game rewards for the “inconvenience.”) This game is nothing but a cash grab and I would advise to avoid at all costs, it wouldn’t surprise me if they faced legal issues for this stunt they just pulled.

We’re do I start! This game has been great and I’ve really enjoyed it until the past couple of months or so. And Ive played about a year I’m a mid spender vip 9 but in these updates the pay walls are just huge every single update is a paywall! A ship skin is around £800 mental! £100 for this £100 for that. Knife heroes pay for that, pay for this you get the idea game has turned into a dead end money pit. Recent events like Halloween and thanksgiving were an embarrassment. Latest updates just pay pay pay. RIP FTP players as it’s pointless. I’m in the discord and suggest area they don’t listen they don’t care about the players except making money. Would have been 5 stars but down to 1 after these horrendous updates on the pay side.

Same as most other reviews, fun at first, then the game rapidly becomes a money sink if your daft enough to feed the greed.

I have yet to see an ad for this game that represents anything close to its current format. The game is pretty sweet, no ads and a massive area/s to explore. It’s a hungry game though. It may eat your life and given chance will drain your bank balance. As all games it has its negative elements of the community. As this is a game of pirates I chose to embrace this chaos and see it as a part of the game rather than a source of irritation. I give it a solid 4 out of 5 after putting in the time to reach level 36. More hours than I care to acknowledge. Give it a go, don’t be upset if someone sinks you when offline. It is not personal. Have fun!

It’s a good game however the game makers have now got it to the point where unless your happy to send a lot of money your unable to progress and enjoy the game as much as you would hence why most players are now leaving because of the cost and bully’s.

Totally riddled with bugs which ruins it unfortunately

The latest update is a mess, taking an enemy faction port gives them a 30% buff against you. Enemy can also keep gaining territory from towers you have cut off from their territory. The game play makes no sense anymore. It also crashes my iphone 13 pro max. Don’t waste your time or money on this one.
