Sonder - A Better Way To Stay

I see that some reviews were left over a year ago, but not much changed. All just to get a confirmation of a booking I already paid for. - 4 hours chatting to get a confirmation of phone number (no texts from Sonder seems to be reaching me). - Constantly asking me to make an internationally call to USA to solve their (!) issue. -You then have to delete the app and install it again, so it is your last step, no matter that you have already chatted with them for hours and hours through the actual app! This is all crazy and i didn’t yet even arrive at the place.

I am very disappointed. They have made my stay here disgusting. Invasion of ants, rudeness of your staff, constant smoking of marijuana by neighbors. When I reported these issues, the administrator didn't trust me and had to take the time to prove it to them. I don't recommend anyone to use this company. When I asked for a refund for the remaining period, they fooled my head for 10 days and eventually refused. Prices are very high, on Airbnb you can find better and cheaper options. I have been trying to get the check-in details for 3 hours because of technical issues with the app: it was displayed that I need to download the app, what I had already done at that moment. After starting three chats with the support I have found out that I need to verify my id. But again: there was no link for it. Regarding the app: It’s not possible to copy text from the chat, thus each time the support agent sends a link you need to type it manually. It’s not possible to upload photos to the chat to prove that there is a problem with the app. It is not possible to continue the chat with the same support agent whom you have already explained everything after you close the chat or an app.

I wasn’t expecting a hotel as easy as getting in your own house. No line, no interaction, no time waste and Sonder app includes everything you need .

Chat in the app is useless as there is no way to return to the previous conversation. Do you expect me to keep the app open while waiting for a response? When someone called me in the middle of chat conversation, I was unable to return to the chat, had to start a new one. This is the worst chat implementation I have seen, useless.

It is actually a studio with a simple half wall Fifth floor has 7 steps between elevator and our room No instructions on how to unlock the door 1- press you hand on the key pad 2- it turns on 3- type your number 4- type the check mark The parking is another French first, Victoria parking No sign where to park No sign how to get out of the place Use elevator to go up two level Use two very narrow escalators to go up two more Then you are at street level with another 6 steps to go down What do the disable people do in Quebec Instead of forcing all Canadian to use both languages and French only in Quebec, do something for your visitors and disable people

Wow props to whoever designed this app. It is perfect! Beautifully designed. No glitches. Smooth and intuitive. Even has a mobile key!

First of all I had stayed about 2 years ago and it’s location was south of Palm Springs. I had no clue they had changed their location to north Palm Springs where it is super windy. I would never had booked it if I had that info. Then we finally get to our room 107 and we have towels right under the AC : it is leaking and smells like molds. I am absolutely livid about the outcome. Definitely not the standard I had from the location Sonder had . I wish I had some sort of a warning before I booked it for Memorial Day weekend where everything is packed and cannot go somewhere else

WiFi non working

Can't use the pool, can't use the gym, can't use the main entrance. Can't use the amenities that I specifically booked my stay for. Super frustrated
