This app is so trashy. SVB can not afford making normal nice looking app?

I think this app has to win some sort of award on how terrible the UI/UX is. Really. For a bank that targets technology companies and founders, this app definitely has not considered at all what their user requirements are. What makes it even more embarrassing for “Silicon Valley” Bank, is just how cheap it is today to build beautiful and well functioning apps — really, dirt cheap. You just need to have the will.

True monstrosity created and made live without any testing. Does not even let you login. It looks like a very poor implementation of some cross-platform app. Rather remove it from the App Store than promoting it. Makes SVB look like a scam.

It was ugly before, but at least it worked. The log in button is not clickable at iPhone 11 :-/

Have the developers ever used an iOS device? God knows what cross-platform framework from hell they used to build this monstrosity, but they shouldn’t have; the result is atrocious. I couldn’t even log in using the iOS password manager, the Log In button is disabled until you manually type in your creds. SMH.

Fails more than half the time

Can’t access the top menu because it is behind the iOS status tray. As others have mentioned if you ever can get it to work the check photo capture feature doesn’t orient correctly to landscape

The app is still very broken for deposits. It’s been an issue for months now. And it’s literally the only thing I use the app for.

Where ever this is being devoted, they should fire the entire team. Since SVB was taken over this app has gone from bad to worse and today, you cannot make a deposit. Terrible app, don’t bother until they fix the basic bugs of being able to deposit a check.
