Upstart: Personal Loans + More

I've applied to this company multiple times, and each experience has been a complete waste of time. The reasons for not being approved are vague and feel extremely limited. The process is misleading and frustrating, giving the impression that approval is nearly impossible. Based on my experience, I would never recommend this company to anyone. Save your time and look elsewhere!

Got a loan to consolidate everything and this month I paid 130 which my minimum is 128 and not even two dollars of that went towards the loan the rest went towards interest, which they are also charging me daily interest so this whole loan is designed to never actually let you get out out of it, which is arguably a scam and absolutely no different than a payday loan

I applied for $6500 loan for 3 years and guess what, I only can get $5800 deposits after fee but total I need to pay is $9800 includes other fee. Just be aware! Don’t click “ I Agree “ too fast! It’s crazy.

Not recommended. Not sure why NerdWallet is promoting them so much but I would avoid.

This happens a lot. Suddenly, the app changes. Sheesh

Works perfectly for what I wanted it for. Ease of use and can quickly see my loan balance or pending payments.

I got my loan in a matter of a day. I have tried several times to set up the app so I can view my information with no luck. I deleted the app and reinstalled it a few times and still no luck. I would like to be able to see my progress on the app in one click without having to go to the website every single month.

I tried them out basis that I got referral from credit karma saying that no credit or bad credit and even on websites so people don’t waste your time on them and it’s all false advertising.

The app makes autopay a nightmare, hard to setup and dates are all over the place then when you can’t make your payment it charges $45 in fees even though it’s impossible to setup your payment plans right
