Too Much

Way too many pop up ads.

Painfully Oppressive Advertising

I've been playing Words with Friends for years and years--longer than a decade. But nowadays the ads are so exasperatingly long I am tempted to quit and try a different word game.

Can’t play on MacBook???

Have been playing this game on my MacBook for well over a year now, all of a sudden I need to update it and is “not compatible with this device” boo

Paid for no ads but receiving ads

Unbelievable the last week I paid for no ads but I just started receiving ads again with no help from support.

Love the game but glitches

I’ve played for years and will continue but the ads are so often and so long and the new trophies awarded after each play that go towards the team for weekly rewards are not awarded half the time when they should be. It’s been an ongoing issue.

Adds Way Too Long

This a great game to play with a friend but they put so many adds in them that it spoils it. The latest is adds that takes 4 pages to close just to get back to the game and adds that actually take you out of the Words With Friends site and put their adds on my search engine. This very frustrating and they need to know that if I wanted to buy the game they are advertising I would buy it but the length of time it takes for the adds to run only makes me hate them more. I will never buy from any add just for this reason.I do understand the need for adds put the ones on this game are ridiculous.

Ads ruin the game

Game used to be fun. Now it’s ruined by ads that glitch out and won’t even let you exit out of them. Have to restart the app all the time. It’s so frustrating that I had to leave this review. And I’ve never left a review before in my life.

Ridiculous Harassment

Ridiculous amount of pop-ups, stupid rewards that essentially mean nothing and constant badgering to pay for coins etc. when you click on one thing, it continually brings you to accepting a charge. And asking you to allow them to track you. NO way. Just want to play the game.

Why, just why?

World record contender for ad spam. Constant nagging to buy items, opt into ad trackers, and join whatever annoying side game they came up with last night. If you love to annoy people, become a software developer and work for words with friends.
