This app was brilliant to start with but once your project gets to any kind of size the app pretty much shuts down and you have to try several times to get it to record which completely ruins any kind of spontaneity. I assume if you buy the full app this ‘problem’ goes away? It’s good but not good enough to justify the price, if there as a cheaper or a one off payment I’d consider it.
I’ve been using this app since 2017 everyday! Recently the developers have introduced a subscription model and the costs are completely ridiculous - the basic version of the app (I paid €5.49 for the pro version back in 2017) is bare bones and essentially unusable if you’ve been using pro up until now - I won’t be paying 61€ for a yearly membership nor will I be paying 300€ for lifetime membership - 1SE have abandoned their users
Is my favorite app but the last two updates make it crash before it opens so I’ve had to move to leap second
Since the most recent update where the style for adding videos changed I can’t record videos in the app anymore. It either doesn’t let me press record or once I do press record it doesn’t let me stop recording or even just go out of the camera. Instead I have to leave the app go into my camera roll record the video there then reenter the app and upload it. Besides this issue I do think the app is a great idea and I have been using it for over a year so I just find it very annoying to not be able to record in the app anymore and I hope it can be fixed.
I don’t have my phone’s native music app, but I have Spotify. If I select the option ‘My Music’, it comes up saying ‘we can’t find any locally available songs’ and ‘the Music App is not installed on your device’. Am I missing something or just can I not connect the two apps?
I know design is subjective and all but the app feels like it’s from 2007 when custom curvy fonts were a trend. Not only it’s outdated visually, the UX and execution is quite poor too. Would be nice to remove all this clutter and fluff. Funny that you don’t show your designer’s contact details under “our team” section in the app — to make sure users don’t complaint to them directly? lol
Good
This is the best app. I have been documenting my life for the past 3 years and can look back at some incredible big events and little everyday joys. It takes so little effort and brings a moment of creativity and gratitude into each day, even when you feel like there’s nothing to document there’s always a second ☺️. I talk about this to all my friends, family, colleagues and I think everyone should try it out. 🙌
I’ve now got new black bars from videos originally recorded from Snapchat and imported... even though they’re landscape! This is a great app that I use daily, I hope you fix this back to how it always was!!🤞🤞
It’s a very very basic online “diary” great if you are 12 but not otherwise. Does not let you create daily videos, only a maximum of 2 photos allowed once a day, too restrictive, no creativity and misleading.
