Almost an all-round music player

Knocked off one star because it doesn’t play DSD files. It has otherwise one of the best file/songs browsing interface and is very stable.

Lagging

Video will lag sometimes. Using iphone 5 here

Bug

After updated on 3 Nov. It could not play movie on iPhone 5. It did not help even after reinstalled App and uploaded movie.

Update broke the app

After updating I can't open any video files that was inside already. And also please have it remember where I stopped watching so I don't need to search for it every time.

Lost support for iOS 5

I'm on iPad 1 with iOS 5 and now my 8player app no longer works with my version. What gives???? I paid good money for this!

Clean and fast for music

I bought for music from qnap NAS and it works great. Interrogates the media server very quickly and easy to use. Free version only shows first 5 files per folder, so you have to buy full version but worth it. Does not work for most video files.

Favorites Folder in Movies

Can you tell me how can I move the downloaded movies into the Favorites since there is a Favorites Folder in the Movies menu? Next, is there a way that I can create a folder/folders in the Downloaded menu with the movies so that they are categorized? Thank You, Eddycks

Dream come true

My NAS is set to be a iTunes and UPNP server. With the 8player on my iPhone or iPad I could stream music, video or photos. I played wave files and watched vid clips I took my my mobile phones that were not iTunes compatible. All played without a glitch. And the NAS appeared automatically on the 8player. Works wonderfully. And controls are really easy. Great software. Makes my iPhone and iPad a streamer for all my media in my NAS. Wow.

Excellent!!

excellent apps for use to acces your DLNA server. I'm using it with my WDTV Live Hub and it's working great. Support and updates are also excellent. Highly recommend this apps.
