Macworld Digital Magazine U.S. Reviews

often tiresome

daviddow on

United Kingdom

Frequently loses my content. Tech support do at least respond, but it's a pain having to contact them for something as simple as reading a magazine subscription. Although MW offer digital subscriptions, the app offers no facility to extract useful info, or print out helpful articles - what a waste of an opporutunity.

A very buggy app!

OssieH on

United Kingdom

Not only did the last upgrade remove all previously downloaded content, it frequently logs me out, with the same results. Also, the latest editions of the magazine are available for download on Zinio days ahead of the Macworld app! For a magazine that is about all things Apple, Macworld's execution of its own IOS app is pretty dismal......

Poorly executed upgrade

double-espresso on

The upgrade removes all downloaded content. Not a problem if they were restored after waiting a few minutes. I'm still waiting after an hour to see any purchases restored.

Nice layout and content,

Horrible app. I am ready to cancel my subscription. I have to email customer support each month to download.

Terrible

itlnprd on

United States

This app used to work fine but September was the last month I was allowed to read the mag. It will not populate my library any longer so I was not able to enjoy October and now November and I am about to request a refund it happens on both my iPhone and iPad which has the newest versions and I redownload the app simply crap.

Can’t use when flying

HH in FLL on

United States

Unless you’re connected to the internet it requires you to “sign in”, which of course you can’t do when flying internationally. Their tech “support” dept is worthless.

I miss the actual paper magazine

( I used to have every single copy printed) but this is almost as good. And it is a lot handier because I always have my phone with me. Nice job guys and gals! JohnWD3
