Beauty category?

I love your app and I think having a beauty option for makeup would be a great addition to putting together outfits. It would also be great as a beauty collection tool.

Good app

For the moment I like the app, was great when free and when they changed it to a paid app I paid up as I was already invested after added my whole wardrobe into the app. Pros Easy to add items Great outfit planner Has an AI outfit planner if stuck for ideas Can create wardrobes for events/holidays that allow you to plan outfits and packing. Allows you to see cost per wear and other stats as long as you input all data ie date of purchase, cost and brand. Fairly easy to upload items. Cons I wish there was more flexibility with the categories allowing the user to come up with their own categories. It’s now a paid app it you want to add your whole wardrobe. I hope paying will give more improvements. Basic interface. There is a selling function on the app which I have not used, not sure if it will be the next vinted. Good all round app that I would recommend for now

A bit american with the units…

Tiny_Sia on

United Kingdom

The app is nice and intuitive, but it won’t let me add my body measurements in anything else other than ft/inch and lbs… I don’t have an issue with this being the default, but I would also like to have the option to switch to metric, as you can't do that. I had to google and convert my measurements, and it feels silly when 95% of the world uses metric units for height and weight. This is also a minor thing but I think it can improve user experience. It asks you for what country you are in, but then the default currency is in dollars. When searching on the search bar to change this, I wrote “pounds” and nothing showed up. I wrote “sterling” and again nothing. I had to start typing United Kingdom for it to show.

Ruined a good thing

I really enjoyed using Acloset for months, until they overnight (with no warning) introduced a subscription model. I couldn’t even access my clothes or archive to delete some to get under the 100 item limit because a stupid banner comes up. Not only that, but any time you do anything now a 20 second long unskippable ad shows up. I would have been happy to keep using the app despite the clothing limit but it has become impossible. Sad to have lost all the time I spend adding clothes and outfits. Before then it was a great app. Thankfully I saved screenshots of my outfits. I understand the need to monetise but this was a terrible move by the developers.

insanity

you are actually cuckoo bananas demented if you think im going to pay a subscription fee to look at MY OWN PANTS without watching a twenty second unskippable ad first

A fantastic app ruined by subscription model

BoredStudent87342 on

United Kingdom

I've used this app for over a year and it's honestly been fantastic but the new subscription model mean I'll be deleting my account. I would fully understand the addition of adverts if they wanted to add revenue to support their growth, but a subscription model that is £3.99 a month is just ridiculous. I imagine a lot of users are going to leave this app which is a shame, as the organisation and opportunity to track your cost by wear has been a fantastic resource.

Greed

Just terrible business model. Don’t recommend.

Greed has destroyed it

EztabonB on

United Kingdom

Loved the app, was fantastic, great features and perfect, raved to everyone about it , how greed has ruined it and I’ll look for a replacement I don’t know if they think everyone earns a 6 figure salary but when I can’t afford to pay for new clothes as every one of mine is from the charity shop, why should I be paying over £100 a year to keep pictures on a system? I would be more than happy to pay a one off fee for the app such as £10 but a subscription is ridiculous

Was great
