Creative Cloud is kinda workable as a cloud service, but at times it does depend on Adobe’s back end systems like billing and account management working correctly. And those are basically unsupported junk. We’ve had persistent problems on our Teams accounts with licensed assets just disappearing, licenses not being correctly allocated and much else besides. Every time we’ve reached out to Adobe to get accounts sorted out, we’ve been greeted with the corporate equivalent of a raised middle digit. If you need support for any cloud issues, expect endless chat sessions where you’re bounced from person to person and team to team with no answers; support emails that go unanswered; advertisd support phone numbers that have been disconnected by Adobe; and no escalation paths anywhere. It’s a textbook exercise in corporate sociopathy. When you finally manage to get a support callback, it will be days and days later, from a person who doesn’t know what they’re taking about - and in our case, at 5am in the morning because that suited the support staff. So the apps themselves are ok, but treat them like unsupported abandonware.
The cloud is the most annoying setup I’ve used, it constantly wants to upload and waste space, 102 MP files take up a lot of space in RAW and the 100GB is gone in a moment, I am looking forward to capture one in 2022 so I can dump this company and work with one that actually understands what we want not how much money they can suck out of us.
Why does it keep saying my account has been temporarily disabled for security reasons on both my ph and laptop? Nothing is wrong with the way I log in, it just keeps showing up with the same message.
Adobe have made a really well crafted app with great integration between platforms. They’ve also given full photoshop to the iPad which is a fantastic move. Highly recommend.
So, my Creative Cloud on my computer consistently fails to sync (it just keeps saying syncing), so I got the mobile app so that when that does happen I can always send a copy of my work to myself. Unfortunately, it will only let you share a JPEG preview of the file, not the actual file itself. There is no option at all. So disappointed, especially since Adobe is normally so good, but it’s CC options just seem to be terrible.
Still learning though.
The advantages are obvious and the app is well executed. As part of the Photoshop-Lightroom package, this is essential.
Great app
Great app for managing digital assets across platforms, devices and enterprises...
